Post-game - CODA Episode 1 - Walkthrough(No Commentary) - PC

Episode 1 - The Songstress
Some pre-requisites to remember before starting episode 1 of CODA in Post-game. You need to read the talk topic "Songstress of Omish" once you've cleared the game. Head to port Omish to watch the scenes that occur. First timestamp displays this and the following events afterwards.

You will also need to have Canopus and Gildas alive in your playthrough. Meaning they need to survive past the final boss.

0:00 - Episode 1: The Songstress

3:05 - Start of battle. Interesting objective being “Vanquish the unruly mob!?” Maybe there’s something more than defeating everyone? Yup you would be right.

You’ll be given 3 choices throughout the battle. Very early on might I add.

4:03 - Pick the 2nd option when Denam speaks. He will say “I can’t let this get out of control”

4:35 - Pick the 2nd option when Gildas speaks. He will say “No turning back now!”
5:40 - Pick the 1st option when Denam speaks. He will say “Is this the time to run?”
From there the battle will end. After the battle where we bravely ran away from the angry mob.

6:40 - Reading talk topics to unlock Pirate’s graveyard where the rest of Episode 1 is located.

You need to read two new topics. "Storm Strikes Oedlark" and "Iuria's Requiem." Travel to Golyat to unlock a third topic being "Iuria's Secret." Once you read the third topic the Pirates graveyard will open up.

Pirate’s Graveyard - Cave of Spite

7:42 - Cape of Spite - 1st story battle in Pirate’s graveyard.

10 units. Level 41 enemies. Bring a dragoon with beast slaying skills equipped for the Octupi. And clerics with exorcism to take care of the undead stilled units. Probably bring a ranged unit like Arycelle or a fusilier unit like Lindl to take advantage of the high elevation.

20:11 - Astride the border - non-story
8 units. Reptilian enemies. No need to worry about pits, dragons, undead or beasts here. I’ll let you decide what kind of party to start with.

When choosing which path to take. Pick the rightmost path. Didn’t know the shortcut was available. I thought since I didn’t finish the pirate’s graveyard back then it wouldn’t show up. But this eliminates 3 filler battles we don’t need to fight on.

27:47 - Crumbling Garden - 
12 units. Level 44 enemies. There are pits here so keep an eye on all your troops. Equip steadfast on your melee units and winged ring if you have the relic from the palace of the dead. If not, keep an eye out for them.

41:24 - Bosom of the Sea God
12 units. Level 43 enemies. Multiple octupi and undead. There is a small amount of pits here so remember my recommendation as above from Crumbling Garden. Equip beast slaying skill on a dragoon and exorcism for your clerics.

53:53 - Midline Rift
8 units. Level 44 enemies. 1 Octupi and multiple undead. Bring exorcism on your clerics and make sure your dragoon still has beast slaying skills equipped. No need to worry about pits.

1:03:13 - Into the Darkness 
12 units. Defeat Sirene(lvl 48) enemies at level 46. No need to worry about pits. Enemies will be higher level than you. So try and take shots where you can since you start with higher elevation as you slowly make your way to the boss. Once you’re in range, vanquish her to end the battle.

Now you have Iuria recruited and a new classmark is available too! Nice work!

DF notes: Gonna go on vacation for less than a week. Be back with the final CODA episodes. Already done recording for Episode 2 and 3. Just need to edit them. Episode 4 I just need to finish the final battle.Then i'll move onto my next projects. Thinking of uploading Front Mission 1st walkthroughs, Chained Echoes(A new indie rpg coming very soon) walkthroughs. And then we have Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion coming out lol. Busy time for December. Still want to come back to Tactics Ogre Reborn. Since I didn't upload the beginning maps in Chapter 1 and chaos/neutral routes. I'll think about it while i'm gone.
