Lmao NO JUMP. I know it sounds crappy not to have a jump mechanic but it's kinda surprising how it really doesn't affect the game so much, at least to me.

@jonkatcol guessing the first time it was bugged because you landed on the side of your hitbox rather than the bottom? Also, I can confirm, the ropes only have interaction points on top, bottom, and ledges. I experimented with jumping across the ravine to catch the one in Keeper's Pass and there was nothing to grab. Later I did some rock climbing by a rope elsewhere and was next to the rope on the cliff face but there was likewise nothing to grab.

This has always been a 'sore' subject. You can't jump, (Yes you can step off a cliff) but the lack of any kind of jump up a step is aggravating to say the least. Also falling NEEDS to be revamped.
While descending from the mine in AC I stepped on a ledge and managed to step back off it falling a good 100-150 feet to land on a tiny outcrop about 10 feet off the ground level.The only harm was a sprained wrist and ankle. BUT after healing,I could not touch the rope! I assume this was because the ledge I was on was never intended to be accessed. I had to step off the ledge to get down. Well I just fell 100 to 150 feet so OK, step... SPLAT CRUNCH! My whole screen lit up! EVERYTHING was sprained, bruised clothing damaged and I was down to 10% health! COME ON GUYS! WTH?
