Re-rolls
This is the exact science to how re-rolls work in the game.

  • You can re-roll a card as many times as you want.
  • Each time you re-roll the credit price goes up by 10, but it's caped at 100 per roll.
  • The rolls are seeded to the current save so reloading wont work for different rolls, but reloading and trying to roll another card is a good option if you want. Doing another mission will change the seeded rolls and you can attempt to roll that card again. But the first roll is the same after a new mission for every card, if you loaded the save and didn't save the card roll last time. The rest is different but first one is always the same.
  • Changing mods between rolls changes the seed, but you have an enormous amount of possibilities to explore.
  • Some rolls are more rare than others like quick or free etc.
  • You can remove a mod by dismantling the card once (only removes mod, not the card).
  • If you remove a mod the card still keeps the caped credit price from before.
  • Rolling another copy of the same card gives another seeded set of rolls than the first one.
Attack
Cards cannot get the same mod already available on the base card unless it's a KO reward.
Attack (Aoe, Chain and Line)
  • 25% Bleed Chance
  • 25% Marked Chance
  • 25% Vulnerable Chance
  • 50% Bleed Chance
  • 50% Marked Chance
  • 50% Vulnerable Chance
  • Increased Damage (20% Offense)
  • Increased Damage (33% Offense)
  • Recover Health (100% Offense)
The following mods are chain exclusive
  • +1 Heroism Generated, Apply Taunt
  • +2 Heroism Generated, Apply Taunt
  • Chain +1
The following mods are aoe & line exclusive
  • Increased Damage at Full Health (25% Offense)
  • Minor Increase to Width
  • Moderate Increase to Width
  • Draw a card for each KO.
Attack (Single Target)
  • +1 Moves on KO
  • +1 Redraw
  • +1 Redraws on KO
  • +2 Heroism on KO

The only single target skill that i have found to be excluded it Nico's Witchfire, It's neither chain nor single target and can therefore only get mods from Attack (Universal) and the base pool for Attack (Aoe, Chain and Line).

  • 25% Stun Chance
  • Apply 1 Weak
  • Apply 1 Bleeding
  • Apply 1 Marked

Skills
Cards cannot get the same mod already available on the base card unless it's a KO reward.
Skill
If the Skill has any type of card draw or free, it can never roll any of the following mods:
  • Draw 1
  • Draw 2
  • Draw 1 (Hero)
  • Draw Last Attack
  • Free

But if the card is Free it can still earn Draw Last Attack but not the other three card draw mods.


If the Skill cannot target allies, then it's excluded from Skills (Buffer).

Only The Hunter, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, and Nico can get mods from Skills (Buffer).

Heroic
If the Heroic has any type of card draw, it can never roll any of the following mods:
  • Draw 1
  • Draw 2
  • Draw 1 (Hero)
  • Free

Magik's Reinforcement is the only exception
Captain Americas Spang can have draw card even if it has draw card on KO.

  • +1 Heroism for each KO.
  • Slightly increased area of effect
I'm unsure if the following mod is available for legendary abilities:
  • +1 Heroism for each KO.
  • Draw a card for each KO.

Heroic Legendary
These are the special rules i have found so far for different legendary cards.

Wanda's Legendary card counts as skill and not attack, even if it deals damage.

It seems like Wolverine's and Nico's Legendary abilities fit in the same category as Nico's witchfire card, and can only draw mods from Attack (Universal) and the base pool of Attack (Aoe, Chain and Line). But I'm still investigating this

Do conditional chain abilities count as single target or chain?

For example, Deadpool’s Quick Shot ability and Spider Man’s similar ability only chain if they get a KO. So would the mod pool be classified as single target or chain ability?

For cards that have draw cards effect only after it upgrades, can it still get draw card if it's at base level? I know you can only add mods after it is upgraded, but you can draw base cards with mods from various places.

might be useful to add that BladeStorm from The Hunter can get 10% Stun Chance, but i need 25%... i uploaded a picture, so you can confirm for yourself that i did roll Stun on it a week ago, yup. (Attk Universal).... you have it under Attk Universal.. so it's already noted, technically.

i was speaking about clarification (clarifying myself while also it clarifies that Universal applies to BladeStorm), furthermore... Apply Taunt seems to be single target only... maybe Charge counts as a Single Target AND an AOE attk, so a crossover.

It's a forceful knockback card that applies 25% chance to stun, if you upgrade it. IIRC....that's why i really like it, slash and quick slash are the tier 1 and 2 attack power cards, charge is tier 3...the final tier. (quick slash is tier1.... i guess... whatever), only reason i want to use it is the 25% chance to sun will make Merciless cards boost base dmg by like 588, i think..upon their current base of 137. (im obsessed with making a stun card build... is technically what i am admitting here....because it would make Merciless cards more powerful than Wild Strike but without the drawback of vulnerable).

never used the charge card so can't say for certain, but if it's a line like Hellride and Photon Beam it will not be able to get Quick, but interesting that it could get lifesteal. Will have to look into that.

Question about Line attacks... because you have it classified as attack,the Charge card from The Hunter can reroll to Quick, right?

i guess i no longer need it, because i got 1 Quick for Last Sight, but because i assume Charge is a (line) attack... since it is an attack and hits the targ into a straight line back... it rerolls the attack (Line) mods.

or is Line exclusively about the Hellride and Photon Beam?

(Summary: im just asking if it's possible for Charge to reroll Quick, since i did get LifeSteal on it)... Also, can BladeStorm apply Quick mod?... just asking/making 100% sure... it can ONLY draw from Attack (AOE) and Attack (Universal). :steamthumbsup:

Awesome, this means i can turn my 2 Vul mod on Charge card (hunter) to quick... would be very useful to stun any opponents i cant kill in 1 hit. i love HolySpark but it's slowing down my run...for 200 dark, heh. 102 Light atm and it took quite a while, i should probably check what NewGame+ unlocks... better safe than sorry. i love Scarlet Witch because she buffs and heals at the same time!!! (is heal also a buff? im not big on these kind of games)
