Welcome
This guide is meant to give you some guidance on how to lower the crash rate of WZ2....not get rid of crashes as that is on their side to fix.

As we all know....the game crashes are mainly caused by incompatibility between the game and steam....also between the game and any overlay software that you might have running.

There are a couple of things you could do to get rid of most of the crashes:

Step 1:
Run Steam as administrator. (Running steam as admin will run the game as admin, lowering the chances of game crashing by being prioritized)

Step 2:
Do not run CrosshairX ....crosshairX is an overlay software, meaning it will overlay with the game causing the game to crash as the window of the game is not in focus.

Step 3:
Stop MSI Afterburner and Riva tuner. Both software contain overlay tools and COD has some handling issues with OC. (I did notice a increase in crashes when my GPU was running OC mode instead of Stock)

Step 4:
Disable Nvidia Geforce Experience Overlay
-> Type Geforce experience in your start bar.
-> Top right side go to settings
-> Disable In Game Overlay

In Game Settings Change
Now we will change a few game settings that do not affect graphic aspect of the game.

Step 5:
Run the game as Exclusive Fullscreen for the best performance.

Step 6:
  • Go to graphics
-> Display
-> Custom frame rate limit: Custom
-> Open the drop down bar: (Show more)
---> Menu custom frame limit : 300
---> Out of focus custom frame limit : 300

Step 7:
  • Go to quality Tab inside graphics:
-> On Demand Texture streaming:
-> make sure that option is off

I hope this helped and you can finally game with fewer crashes than normally.
The devs need to optimize the game to run properly when overlays are displayed on top of the game, or the game goes out of focus.
Also let's hope they will optimize the game properly for 3rd party platform launch.

Good luck out there soldiers.
