If you're trying to play the game with a DualShock 4 (PS4) controller, but run into an annoying bug where the camera spins nonstop, try changing a setting on the game's page in your library:

Manage > Properties > Controller > Override to "Enable Steam Input"

That did the trick for me (Same fix worked with Toree 3D and Toree 2 as well)
