It's B on a Switch controller and ✕ on a PlayStation controller.

I had to go back in time to 1999 to figure this one out. Could've just read this guide and saved myself a whole lot of trouble.

You know, I was really struggling with this. I would press a button, and he would tip over or do this funny little dance. I looked all over the place for a solution; YouTube, Steam's discussion section, random message boards - no one could tell me what I was doing wrong.
