Opis
This mod completely removes "The Hive" helmet cosmetic options and the entire helmet itself from the armor. This mod is part of my collection and is a solution to my issue of Hive Helmets showing on every soldier I generated. Meant to be used with Iridar's Appearance Manager. This is admittedly a s h i t t y solution, but one that works for my purposes.

Is it just the helmet tho? I am also getting invisible arms and legs on my female soldiers as well, although if I click in those are not showing as option so I dont think I can even remove them from the pool

Yes, that helmet was constantly appearing on random soldiers i was recruiting/rescuing in my games. Yeah, I could change their appearance via UCR or Iridaras Appearence Manager, but to constantly have to do that gets tiresome quick. Great Mod Tot, well done!

I don't know if it's the best option but removing the CharacterTemplate="Soldier" bit at the end of the BodyPartTemplateConfig entries prevented the helmets from always showing up but could still show up randomly.

gOOd stuff. The hive armor doesn't have a cosmetic slider that I could find and 80% of xcom wants to wear the helmet for some reason

Doesn't the Hive also have a cosmetic slider in the menu to turn down how likely it is for people to spawn with those helmets?

Didn't realize that would make the entire armor set not exist. I'm going to change it to just remove the helmets. Cuz they ugly anyway
