Wisdom of the Woods

It's quite the grindy achievement due to the limit in the spawns of this plant. I hope this guide will help you get there.

Also note that as it seems they can only be found at night. (we have one count where there was someone found it during the day, so it can happen, but seems like it's super rare)

As it seems there is one spawn location at each way-point of the map, or almost everyone at least.

Regarding the achievement there are 13 plants in total to gather.
Black Trumpet
Chicken Mushroom
Corpse Flower
Deadly Nightshade
Death Cap
Doll's Eyes
Dryad's Saddle
Moon Flower
Oyster Mushroom
Spider Lily
Witch Hazel
Wolfsbane
Wundagore Everbloom

The Library

I am sure most of you have found this one, Its for sure the easiest one to find.

It's in the library behind a table on the right wall in a beige squared pot, the spawning seems to be random or really long.

Agatha's Cottage

First Location:

Its location is right in front of the green statue behind her cottage.

Second Location:

I have not yet found this one myself.

Outside of Agatha's Cottage, go around to the back left corner to find one.

Everflowing Glade

This one is right in front of the bridge towards where you have to go to the 3rd trial. (In front of the bridge to where you spawn if you fast travel there, almost same spot as you spawn.)

Agatha's Altar

I have not yet found this one myself but a lot of others seem to have.

it's suppose to be when facing Agatha's Altar, the torch to the left will have a Wundagore at its base.

Hunter's Folly

Right in front of the stairs to the Hunter's Tomb.

Shaw's Church

Right in front of the main gate in to the church.

Dreamer's Descent

This one is a bit trickier to find at first.

If you teleport to Dreamer's Descent and walk east until the road starts going south on map (close to a common chest). When you are facing the chest walk to your left until you reach the entrance of a cave. It's location is right next to the tiny tree left of the wooden plank with a witches mark on.

Lilith's Garden

I have not yet found this one myself.

Just outside the ladder to the basement

Just next to the first blood gate teleport point.

Valley Of The Winds

I have not yet found this one myself.

If you teleport here and then backtrack back over the bridge just to your right is one of the original midnight sun member statues, the plant should be in front of it.

Whispering Wood

I have not yet found this one myself.

In the fairy ring in front of the teleport location in Whispering wood.

Well anecdotally it appears the latest patch has improved the spawn rate considerably. Previous nights I was 0 for 4 hitting all these spots at night. Loaded my game from the latest patch and I got 3 plants on my first run!

just posting this so you can see it's confirmed.. on Sunday Night ..during Waxing moon, lol >.> just noticed i could use the weather details (on the ingame map) for night too...handy for artifact.. Gloss farming.

i assume..it must be totally random, i found 1 by Agatha's Memorial just now too... but that happened a week ago too... so i could have missed 1 for a day or 2 then finally picked it up on that night... i usually try to scan every area... every night... this way you get em all chests and every plant that spawns on that day too.

On Waxing Moon Nights, here are the locations I have found them:

1 - Library in the pot - Every waxing
2 - Beside Agatha's Alter - Thursday
3 - On the steps of the first Blood Gate - Never
4 - Middle of the Crater north of the Abby - Sunday, Monday
5 - Near the steps of Hunter's Folly - Thursday
6 - Steps of Standing Stones - Sunday
7 - In front of Shaw's Church - Sunday, Monday
8 - Statue behind Agatha's Cottage - Monday, Tuesday

Possible locations that i have seen mentioned but have not seen myself:

1 - At the entrance to the Witch Cave in Dreamer's Descent - Monday, Thursday
2 - Everflowing Glade at the bridge when you fast travel in - Monday
3 - Lilith's Garden by the broken wall - Day ?, obtained twice

You could see the actual phase of the moon at the top right corner of the map...
When it's every waxing moon it should be every 4th night... 🤔

no, its every waxing moon but there is no exact every x days that it spawns. Honestly I'm not even sure how to spot the waxing moon myself.
