Getting The Hang of Things
Alright, as you have figured out the controls to this game are kindy tricky to get the hang of. Such as missing notes or entire sections of the music can be a hassle to you, and come to a rage quitting end. Yet, you have 3 different options to help you find the right playing style with ease.

1. USING THE NORMAL KEYS (LEFT/RIGHT HANDS)
-Now the game has it set up to where the keys for the bottom are (A,S,D,F) and the top being (W,E,R) -- If your left handed change the keys to - bottom (J,K,L,;) Top (U,I,O)

Now this can be a hassle, but I learned that if you can memorize the keys and coordinate your fingers to remember the top letters you can do fine, but also remember to use the SPACEBAR, to let out that ultra attack once your combo gets high enough. The only Problem with this skill is that your other hand may get tiresome, and you will forget some of the keys. But practice makes perfect, I suggest trying it on Easy, then working your way up letting your fingers gain control of the proper places. Also take breaks too, trust me hand cramps are the worst.

2. USING THE BOTTOM KEYS AND THE MOUSE TOGETHER
-For this technique I suggest keeping the bottom row the same - Right (A,S,D,F) - Left (J,K,L,;) the only difference here is you dont have to remember the top keys, just use your other hand to control the mouse and get those black keys, but remember the SPACEBAR for those combos. This is a simpler method and will get the job done on normal, and if you work hard enough, impossible as well. Also, keep aware of which keys are which, if you try this method you may lose track of keeping up with the mouse and the keys under your fingers.

3. USING THE MOUSE ONLY AND THE SPACEBAR
-For those of you who want the easiest possible configuration just use the mouse to gain all the keys, this is the easiest, but will cause your score to be lower on some of the later levels as they require two keys to be pressed at a time, and you have only one mouse. But if your quick enough you can surely become master painist on the mouse, just make sure to have the other hand on the SPACEBAR to let out your Ultra Combo.
Other Forms of Notes
There are some other pesky notes to gain ahold of, but they shouldnt effect your score too much on Normal, but if you want to go on Choplin level, these are a must have in order to gain the perfect score.

Golden Notes - After you successfully string together notes you will see a sparkling Golden Note appear and fly upwards. This is harder to do with the Keyboard and Mouse, or just mouse scenario. To snag the Golden Note just push the corresponding key that appears under it before it reaches the top.

Green Arrowed Notes - These notes appear to have an arrow that points in either the left or right direction. This being said there are two options to completing. Using the mouse just drag it all the way to the end of the last key, or using the keyboard just hold the corresponding key.

Sparkly Notes - Ever notice when a note sparkles? Well this is in order to show you the perfect time to press the key. Too early or too late results in the bar at the top to lower, also breaking into your combos. Remember if you want to be the best, make sure to snag those sparkling notes.

Holding Notes - these notes have green trails at the end indicating for you to hold the key down until the trail ends. IMPORTANT - if you miss the key don't try and hold it thinking you will still get the points. If you do, it will count as a missed note and even sink your bar all the way down. Trust me, I had to replay countless of levels due to this missed factor.

Notes on the Past
Who was Frederic Choplin? Sure he is the cartoony hero of our game, but actually he was one of the greatest paino players in Poland at the Time.

Born in Poland, Frederic was a very bright child at an early age. Actually, publishing his first works at a very early age. Very well known for his highly harmonic melodies played on the paino.

Actually, he did soon move on to Paris, in which he met the love of his life George Sand. This caused a sudden spark of creativity. As his love grew, so did his music, known to be some of the grandest and greatest years of his life, he wrote many masterpieces. (Many which you hear in the game, but are remixed.) Such as B Minor Sonata and the Opus 56 Mazurkas.

Yet Soon his life spiraled out of control. His love life started falling apart as he grew more and more outraged and uncontrollable. Many say due to epilepsy, but it may have been the loss of losing his lover. It soon broke Choplin, breaking his heart far beyond recovery. He made one last tour through Paris before finally dying at the age of 38.

His body was buried in Paris. But his Heart returned to Poland with his sister.

ASDFGHJ is the best control scheme imo. ASD for middle three fingers on left hand, FGHJ for index thru pinky on right hand.

As far as I can tell, the slide notes do not work with the keyboard. I think that I got them working with the mouse sometimes, but really not worth it, since I only saw a couple extra points. Many more points with the golden keys, although they do not help you beat the level.

so on the sliding notes, do I have to slide it over one by direction, or order of keys, so say I got an s right, would I press se or sd to get it working?

I still dont understand for the life of me how to use slide notes. Ive finished the game already on chpoin, but maybe the slide notes give extra points?

I changed the key binds to ASDFJKL to use 2 hands. The game won't let you assign ; as a key which is ridiculous, but c'est la vie.

On the harder stages, screw those golden notes, too tough to worry about them as well as the main stage!

Very informative. The game just kinda dumps you in without explanation, surprisingly rough for such a unique game. At least someone is explaining special keys and how to play comfortably.
