Strategic Ambiguity

Beskrivning
By default, Kenshi locks you out of certain faction quests and dialogues when you are allied with a different faction.

This mod removes any checks which would otherwise prevent you from completing dialogues, turning in bounties, joining multiple factions, etc.

Therefore, when using mods that allow you to gain relation by other than normal means (e.g. Improve relations by healing), you can maintain multiple faction alliances without sacrificing story content.

This mod does NOT affect faction relations in any way. You must gain/lose relations by normal means. Hostile (-30 rel) factions will still attack on sight.

This mod has not been thoroughly tested - please report any bugs or otherwise any interactions that do not work as intended.

Can this be added mid-save?

Whats the UWE patch called? Been looking all mornign for one of these mods

It is likely no longer completely compatible with UWE. I'm still getting attacked on-sight by the Shek Kingdom for being HN allied in my current run, despite having positive relations with the Shek Kingdom.

Thank you for creating this :beeped:

No problem! @Rad

After testing it out some more, I ended up not needing a patch (hopefully) and it looks like it's working as intended. I included it in my Roleplaying collection. Definitely a great addition!

I wouldn't think there would be a problem with UWE (except in obvious cases where UWE adds additional faction relation mechanics), but let me know, and feel free to post a patch if one is necessary.

The more I'm looking through the .mod file, I notice it has some del references. I'll need to test it with UWE and such, but if it doesn't work properly, would it be okay if I make a patch for UWE?
