Sound good? If the answer is yes then please continue reading...
Meet your Doom
As I mentioned before, you'll need Doom/Doom 2 from the Steam store. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOOM CLASSIC COMPLETE. Seriously, doom classic complete is a complete pack of all of the original doom games and expansion packs and it's worth it. I'll leave links to all of the items in this bundle and a link to the bundle itself below:

Doom Classic Complete: http://store.steampowered.com/sub/18397/

Doom II: http://store.steampowered.com/app/2300/?snr=1_6_4__421

Final Doom: http://store.steampowered.com/app/2290/?snr=1_6_4__421

Meet your GZDoom
As I said earlier on, GZDoom is required for this installation. Go to the following link to download a zipped file of GZDoom and export it (maybe to a folder called Brutal Doom on your desktop).

GZDoom Download: http://www.osnanet.de/c.oelckers/gzdoom/download.html

Now follow the following instructions:

1. Go to your downloads folder and open the zipped file (I'm currently running XP and will use WinRAR to extract)

2. Highlight all files and extract them to a folder on your dektop titled Brutal Doom (for the purposes of not erasing my previous file I shall use the name Brutal Doom 2 instead)

3. Ensure all of the correct files are preent in the Brutal Doom Folder and proceed onto the next section of the guide!
Meet your Brutal Doom
Nearly there now! The end i in sight and soon you shall be able to slaughter the armies of hell to your heart's content alas there is still some way to go... In this section we have to download Brutal Doom itself, to do this download the most recent version of the mod from the Moddb page below:

ModDB page: http://www.moddb.com/mods/brutal-doom/downloads

Ensure that you have downloaded the file titled "Brutal Doom version __" when __ is the latest version of the mod (v19 at time of writing)

1. Download the correct file and open it in WinRAR (or whatever file extraction software you are using)

2. Extract all the files in the zipped folder into the Brutal Doom folder that was created earlier (in my case Brutal Doom 2)

3. Launch the mod by dragging the pak3 file from the mod files ontop of the GZDoom.exe file

4. When GZDoom is opened after this select the IWAD of what game you wish to brutalise and play to your heart's content!
So you're done(?)
You're done, this guide has achieved everything it has to (I hope) if you have any problems please don't hesitate to contact me or the creator of the mod Sergeant Mark IV. I only have quite a surface level understanding of the mod so searching forums or contacting the mod developer himself would be best if there is a more technical issue you can't solve by reinstalling/trying solutions from forums. Even still I might be able to shed a little insight into the issue so feel free to ask in the comments anyways

As you play the game you may notice some of the features I mentioned aren't available and the controls may be awkward. It's all in the options, if you need help with these too I will create a guide on the configuration that I currently use for the game. If I remember I'll leave a link to it below once I have finished the guide.

I remembered: http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=289300722

Anyway, happy murder-time on Mars!

Hey guys, i want to share my Brutal DOOM collection with all of you!

drive(DOT)google(DOT)com/file/d/158akJRREOL7c2o7FCdzdZsq_z7eOAAO0/view?usp=sharing
replace (DOT) with a .

This collection contains The Ultimate Doom, Doom 2, The Final Doom, Doom 2 No Rest for the living and Doom 2 master levels, all of them are compatible with Brutal DOOM mod! This collection also included Brutal Wolfenstein 3D and Brutal Doom 64!
Together with these games there is brutal doom v21 gold, tomtefar's extension, high quality textures pack for doom and brutal wolfenstein, and doom metal music mod volume 6!

All of these games can be quickly launched with SHORTCUTS that i have created, just make sure that you install both "GZDoom" and "Brutal Doom 64" specifically into your C:\Games , otherwise shortcuts won't work.
Also make sure that you read "Read me, gamer!.txt" document, which contains various advice on how to install everything and change settings for games for the most optimal experience!

Thanks you for letting me discover the true glory that is Brutal doom. I have become a member of the PC master race after dicking around with the settings.
Now, if you will excuse me I have to get back to ripping the heads off of these piece of shit demons.

Hm. Ok.

Well that sounds weird, this guide is pretty old and so I'm not too sure of any errors with the recent releases. From the sounds of things it sounds like you're missing some files? Maybe try redownloading the mod and the games themselves to see if that fixes the error at all. Sorry I can't be much help, if that doesn't fix things it may be an idea to look around on forums or create a forum post of your own to see if anyone else has had the same issue.

Something is wrong with mine. It says "Attempt to get invalid state See from actor ImpTorso.
Attempt to get invalid state See from actor DeadImp.
Bad hex number: no

Execution could not continue.

Script error, "brutalv20b.pk3:blood.txt" line 610:
Expected ',', got 'l'."

I think you just select plutonia or tnt wads. I tried looking around a litlle and can't find any dedicated wad file for final doom. Having a look in the source file I could only find TNT and Plutonia wads so that's the only idea I have. Sorry I couldn't be of much assistance.

how do i get this to work for final doom? it's only letting me play through the doom 1,2 wads on bfg edition. it's working fine on those but i actually bought final so i could try some mods (i assumed you couldn't mod bfg versions). it would be nice to play through these new maps with these mods on
