Important tooltips!

[Guide is incomplete, please wait for it to be finished!]

Ah yes, the Peacekeeper, quite the well known novelty within Battlefield 1. One that requires people to slave away for precious dogtags to challenge the gas tunnels for the legendary colt action revolver

However, despite popular beliefs, the easter eggs are not extremely difficult. But they are quite tedious to complete

Tip #1: Selecting the best servers!

The easter egg are of course, completed in various maps. Here is my general recommendation;

-Always do these easter egg in Conquest maps

-Preferably, do the easter eggs on Middle Eastern or African servers. Avoid NA, Asian, and especially EU servers. Players can join your game to troll or grief you

Tip #2: Speed Things Up!

-There are no order in which you do the easter eggs, so I highly recommend you to do the easier ones first

-If you don't want to go through the trouble of deciphering everything yourself, check out the BFEE (Battlefield Easter Egg) discord. They have a channel dedicated to helping people out and will decipher your codes for you, speeding up the time!

Tip #3: Stating the Obvious!

-You must complete all the easter eggs to get the peacekeeper, no cheesing!

-If possible, get a friend along to help. This will be immensely easier especially when doing "A Conflict"
Best Solutions, Easiest Choice!
As mentioned before, there are no order in which you can do this. So I highly recommend you to do all the easter egg in this following order:

Before we continue, here is the general rundown. The easter eggs can be classified in two different separate orders

Straightforward and Unique

-Straightforward being the same for every player and map. As is in its namesake

-Unique being that the easter egg must be done by yourself. The easter egg is different for all players and unique for each map/server. Because it is unique, you cannot simply follow what a person does in a guide and copy what they have

One Time and Progressive

-One time easter eggs must be completed in one sitting at the map you are in. Failing to do so or leaving the server means you have to do it all over again. For Unique, this meant whatever steps will change everytime, so your progress will be completely reset

-Progressive easter eggs don't have to be done in one sitting, and progress will be saved permanently regardless if you leave the server in which you are doing the easter egg

With this in mind, this is the layout for each easter egg in my order:

-Belly of the Beast (Straightforward, One Time)
-Angel Sighting (Straightforward, One Time)
-An Omen (Unique, One Time)
-An Escalation (Unique, One Time)
-A Beginning (Unique, Progressive)
-A Conflict (Unique, One Time)
#1 Belly of the Beast
Easiest of the bunch, this dogtag requires you to go to the map Castello Di Solkan and destroy the angel statue at a certain way. Said statues are located in the courtyard near Objective B

Step 1: Spawn as the Austrian and head to the ruins

Step 2: Shattering!

While you must destroy certain statue in a certain way, the order does not matter. There are 5 total statues; 3 alined in a row, the 4th one in front of the row, and a 5th one standing far behind the row

View the left most statue on the row of 3, shoot off the head (The whole head must be destroyed)

-
View the statue on the middle, shoot off her torso. So just aim at the breast area and shoot. It is recommended to use a pistol for the 3 angel statues

-
View the statue on the very right, shoot off the topmost of her right wing

-
After shattering the 3 statues at the courtyard in this fashion, turn around and you will see the 4th statue. Destroy this statue completely (Toss a limpet charge at it)

-
Once you destroyed the 4th statue and all the other statues before were damaged correctly. A series of shrieks and screams will play. If you do not hear this, try again

After the screams, turn around and walk pass the row of 3 statues. Standing far away is a lone angel statue, walk behind and at the base will have an "Interact" button. Push this and there will play a dramatic sound effect

After that you can leave the game and go to your dogtags, you unlocked "Belly of the Beast!"

#2 Angel Sighting
Located at River Somme, this is the second easiest easter egg for the Peacekeeper

Step 1: Spawn as the British and head to the Factory

-
Step 2: Open the lid!

At the pile of rubble is buried a lid, chuck a limpet charge at it and it will reveal a machinery. There are 5 lights in total, and they can be interacted (Just go prone on them to do so)

Step 3: Input the correct code!

The first set of morse code to input are as follows;
. means the light should be on,
- means they should be turned off,

Once you've inputted the sequence, to confirm and submit it you will need to crawl up towards the base of the lamp, there will be an interact button

First set: ----- (All lights off)
Second set: -.... (First light off, rest are on)
Third set: ..--- (First two on, rest are off)
Fourth set: --... (First two off, rest are on)

-
Step 4: Interact with the valve!

Once the morse code are submitted, the lights on the machine will flick on and off at random intervals. Head back to your spawn and to the house with the chimney. Toss a limpet charge at the wall close to the chimney

Once the sector of the building collapses, there would be a slight climb up to the destroyed chimney, prone and you could see a valve hidden within the chimney

If the valve does not appear, fret not! Chuck another limpet charge down at the chimney and it should appear. If it doesn't, it means the code you input is incorrect, try again

If you interacted with the valve, a phantom monster sound can be heard

-
Step 5: Repeat Step 3, with a slight twist!

Return back to the machine, like with Step 3, you will need to input another set of code. This time is slightly longer and different, but really not much harder

The set you are to put in now are:

First set: ----- (All turned off)
Second set: ...-- (First three lights are on, rest are off)
Third set: ..--- (First two lights are on, rest are off)
Fourth set: ..--- (First two lights are on, rest are off)
Fifth set: ..--- (First two lights are on, rest are off)
Sixth set: .---- (First is on, rest are off)
Seventh set: .--- (First is on, rest are off)
Eighth set: ----- (All turned off)

Once this is completed, you will soon hear the dramatic sound effect, return back to the dogtags and you unlocked "Angel Sighting!"

#2.5 Deciphering Morse Code for the Dogtags
Starting from here, the next 3 consecutive easter eggs will require you to decipher strings of morse code to progress. As annoying as it is, it must be done. And all of them being unique, this means you can't cheese it, you have to do it yourself

If you find it too frustrating however, please consider joining the BFEE discord server as they will help with deciphering

If you want to do it for the thrill, look no further!

Before we continue with deciphering it, you will need Audacity, any recording applications like OBS, and any website that could translate morse code:

Audacity download: https://www.audacityteam.org/download/windows/

OBS download: https://obsproject.com/

Morse code translator: https://morsecode.world/international/translator.html

-------

Step #1: Record!

Simple enough, when you are doing Omen, Beginning or Escalation and the morse code is about to play. Record it! If possible, try and get about 30 seconds to a minute of it

When recording, make sure there are nothing in game that could make noise which would otherwise drown out the morse code

Make sure the processed recording is saved in .wav format. If this is not possible, convert it into one through a website or video editing software

Step #1.5 (Optional)

If you happen to have a video editing software, consider increasing the audio of the recorded morse code clip

Step #2: Deciphering!

There are three ways of deciphering it;

First, is well... You don't. Just join the BFEE discord and they will do it for you, half the work is done if that is the case

Second, record it, and play it back slowed down a lot. And try to pick apart the dots and dashes based on the audio

Third, which is how everyone does it, is not so complicating as it is tedious. Thus so!

---

1: Open up Audacity, drag the morse code recording (in .wav format!) into the application

2: Click on the black down arrow on the left side, then select "Spectrogram"

3: Select "Split Stereo to Mono"

4: Go up to the top tabs, and under Effect, select > "Volume and Compression" and choose "Normalize"

5: Make sure the settings are right, click on the blue-ish grey box (which eliminates the bright glare). Press the magnifying glass on the top tab to zoom in

From there, you can see dashes at the bottom of the audio frequency. Those dashes are either short or long, which equates to dots and dashes. So put them in the morse code translator

@PilVarod If there are people saying BF1 is dead they are either lying or are just mad. All it takes is changing the game filter and it will show plenty of full lobbies. Game is really good but I'd say wait for a discount
