So it seems like Crypto is back. In a buggy and somewhat empty spinoff that was offered as a preorder bonus for the second opus's remake. And it's now offered to anyone who wants it.
But why? Why should I take this game above everything else? Virtual icons, of course!
This guide will provide you informations about the achievements of the game and a roadmap to get them fast.

This is, of course, an advised roadmap. You're free to not follow it.
That being said, it's pretty optimized to get the 100% in a fast way (probably not the fastest, but close from it).

Players needed: 2 (including you).

Get rid of the 6 local only achievements.
- Complete a race in Vs Race mode (map Santa Modesta) to earn Training Wheels (score doesn't matter) ;
- Complete a match in Vs Armageddon (any map) to earn Apocalypse for Beginners (score doesn't matter) ;
- Complete a match in Coop Carnage on the Rockwell map with 3 stars to earn Friendly Rampage and the first half of Teamwork is everything ;
- Complete a match in Coop Abduction on Turnipseed Farm with 3 stars to earn Abduction Rookie and the second half of Teamwork is everything.
The first 2 steps can be done by yourself as long as you have a controller. The third one can technically also be done by yourself. The last one is tricky to get alone, so you'll probably need someone IRL (or through Remote Play) for help. Take a look at Local's section for more tips.

You'll now start to get rid of the online achievements, starting by the non-grindy ones.

The first substep will be to get rid of stuff that can (and must) be done in Vs Armageddon. This will be in the course of a VS Armageddon match in Turnipseed Farm (the first map) without any player upgrades to get All Natural.
Let's suppose Player 1 is the one that needs to get the win. Here's how the match will go:
- Player 1 gets to the UFO by following the signals in order to get Early Bird ;
- in the meantime, P2 goes to the furthest farm from the spawn and provides a little havoc by destroying some targets. Once he/she's at the farm, he/she jetpacks the ♥♥♥♥ out in the air to get Airborne Furon ;
- once said achievement is done, P1 kills P2 to get Supreme Firepower ;
- while watching the time remaining in the UFO, P1 destroy some targets to raise more enemy spawns (you should start seing enemy tanks) while P2 stays in the vicinity of P1 ;
- when P1 is close to losing the control of the ship, he/she should take a large object with telekinesis with the UFO and throw it at P2 just before surrending the UFO to get Overpowered (P2 should get At Wits End) and possibly Stunning Beauty (this one's a bit buggy, more info about that in its own section). On foot, P1 should quickly kill P2 to get Perfect combo ;
- while still provoking havoc, P1 should wait for a new UFO spawn to appear and rush through it once it's there. When in the UFO for the second time, P1 should focus on tanks and cars to get green energy to charge the Quantum Decontructor (check the power level from time to time). Once at 100% power, fire it to get Ace up my sleeve ;
- you should theoritically have enough time to get the UFO a third time. P1 should get it and P2 should destroy it to get Anti-Air Defense (use the fire weapon).
Repeat this for both players (obviously. What kind of hunter would you be if you'd let your partner down? No, don't answer that) so you can both get Wreak Havoc! (the match) & Race Rookie (the win).

It is technically possible to get Survival of the Fittest and Creative Choice of Weapons in this step, but you'll probably get the first one naturally with the next step and you can get the second one with Abduction mode (yes, you read right).

Now let's focus on Vs Rampage mode.
If P1 wins, P2 should avoid trying to kill anyone.
P1 waits for a lot of NPCs to gather around in order to get Bomber Squad: wait for a group of 10 or more to gather, get the Ion Detonator ready, fire a ball then detonate it once they're enough.
P2 should watch P1 from afar. If P1 dies, P2 should quickly get to him/her and steal a score cube on the ground to get Survival of the Fittest.
Both players should pay attention to the rocket launcher soldiers. Try to catch one of their rockets with psychokinesis to get Hot Delivery.
Repeat this for both players so you can both get Rampage Rookie (the match) & Furonic Fury! (the win).

Play a quick game of Coop Rampage mode. A gets killed, B resurrect him/her to get MEDIC!!. Repeat for both.

Here comes the awful part of the online farming: the Abduction achievements.
You'll need to do AT LEAST 12 matches to get everything. At least 2 per map.
Basically, what you'll need to do is to find the special target in every Abduction map (more info about that in the Abduction section). Don't bother doing anything else.
- always get the infinite Skate upgrade ;
- Find the special target in the first map to get Counteragent ;
- if you have enough time on the first map, since there's no hostile, try to find a chicken, get near it then fire with the fire weapon at your partner until his/her shield is completely down. Then quickly grab the chicken with Psychokinesis and fire it at him to get Creative Choice of Weapons. If it didn't work, quickly try again (you can recatch the chicken when it's in the air) ;
- throw anything that doesn't reward points in the tractor beam to get This is not a trash can! ;
- if you have time in the second map, let yourself die (both of you) in the huge body of water to get Nonswimmer & Reckless (after 10 deaths).
Finishing the match will net you Abduction Apprentice.
Winning the match will net you Abduction Intermediate.
Getting all 6 targets by yourself will net you Treasure Hunter.

If you've followed this guide, you should have these achievements left:
- Regional Junior
- Newcomer
- Competitive Furon
- At the eleventh hour
- Superior Genes
- Furon Officer
- Furon Veteran
If you're missing something else, do some clean-up and get the rest. Then come back.
You're done? Good. Let's wrap this baby up.
The last part of the farm will be the Vs Race mode on the map Santa Modesta. For the first two races, both players should race and never miss a gate (yes, both players, as finishing second will net you At the eleventh hour and the achievement is only granted if you FINISHED the race).
Finishing the race will net you Regional Junior (and Competitive Furon if you've followed the roadmap).
Winning the race will net you Newcomer (and Superior Genes if you've followed the roadmap).
Once both matches are done, you'll just have to idle/do the remaining matches needed to get Furon Officer & Furon Veteran (more info about this in the Global section).

There you have it. The rest of the guide will be individual achievement info in case you want to do your own roadmap or if you need info on some achievements. You do you.

Probably the reason why you're even reading this guide. By trying to find an optimal route for the roadmap, my partner and I had something like 60 matches left to complete to get to 100.
The shortest way to get the 100 is to start a Vs Race match in Santa Modesta. It's the shortest one with only 1:20 to wait. Just idle during the match, restart. Rinse & repeat.
If you want to make it even shorter, you & your partner should both finish the race the fastest way possible. We tried and managed to gain a 30-40 sec bonus. So out of 60 matches to wait, we won 30 minutes of time. But it's up to both of you.


Creative & quite underpowered. You'll have to damage your partner's shield completely before being able to actually try that. Find a chicken, use the Pyro weapon (I'll just call it the Fire weapon) to fully damage your partner then quickly catch the chicken, hold the Psykokinesis button to make the throw even more powerful then finally launch the chicken at your friend's face. Your friend's still alive? You can still catch the chicken while it lands and quickly try again.
It can be done in any versus mode but I honestly advise you to do it during Abduction (no enemies on the map).


If you follow the roadmap, you SHOULD THEORETICALLY get this with the UFO's Psykokinesis. If not, find a large object, hold the Psykokinesis button to make the throw even more powerful then release the button at your target's face. Sometimes it doesn't work (it's quite buggy), so try again with something else.


On Turnipseed Farm, there's a barn at the end of the main road you spawn on during Armageddon (additionnaly, you actually spawn on said farm during Abduction!). Just get on top of the farm then blast off.


You'll get this without even trying if your partner is working on his/her stun achievements.


Crypto can't swim. Stay on top of a body of water long enough and he'll die.


Some military men have rocket launchers. Just catch one of their rockets with your Psychokinesis.
Can technically be done on any map that has army men, but I recommend Vs Rampage, Turnipseed Farm.


The main problem with this achievement is that the stun effect doesn't last long when you use your standard Psykokinesis. So use the UFO's!
Wait for your UFO time to be almost finished, grab a large object then just before giving up the UFO, throw the object at your partner. Once on foot, unleash your wrath on your partner using the Fire weapon and you should be good.


Self-explanatory. Can only be done in coop modes, for obvious reasons.


The Ion Detonator is Crypto's "grenade" launcher. Shoot the ball then press fire again to detonate.
Can technically be done in any map with enough people, but we personally did it on Turnipseed Farm, in Vs Rampage. Let enough farmers, townspeople and army men around then shoot a ball in the middle. Detonate it and voilà.


Not sure if this was intended, but it seems to sometimes count all player's deaths.
Start a coop Abduction on the second map then both of you stay on a body of water. Keep respawning and dying and you should get it.


Self-explanatory. Just don't pick any upgrades and you're good. I'd advise you to do it during your Armageddon matches, since you don't really need upgrades for the achievements.

Special targets are the last objectives of every map. These are the targets that will net you 15 points if you manage to capture them.
The issue is that their spawn is completely random. According to EliteSpartan from TrueAchievements, they're supposed to rotate between 3 random locations on the map and they're always on a spot close to the beam's route. The truth is we already had cases where the target spawned in a spot where the beam wasn't even near from (the f-cking cow from the second map even once spawned OUTSIDE of the map's boudaries). So my personal advice would be that both players actively search for it, even when it's not one of them's turn.
Oh by the way, no, getting the target in coop Abduction WON'T give both players a +1 for the achievement. It'll only count for the one throwing the target in the beam.


Self explanatory. Throw something that isn't asked in the objectives in the beam and you'll get it.

In other words, finish the race in 2nd place. You actually DO have to finish the race for this to pop.

Self explanatory. Despite the fact that the win is called Race Rookie, but hey.


Use the Fire weapon, it's pretty efficient against it.


In Armageddon mode, you'll find green beacons. Get to one first to get in an UFO.


I genuinely don't think I need to explain this one.


This one, on the other hand...
One would think that with an icon like that, you could stun a player with some kind of charge or by knocking him/her out. Nope! Just use Psykokinesis (yes, you can still use Psykokinesis in the UFO) with a large object and throw it at the other player.

The Quantum Decontructor is the alternate weapon of the UFO that has a percentage next to it. It needs to be charged by collecting green energy why destroying stuff aboard the UFO.
The good news is that it's pretty rewarding to use it as it's powerful.
The bad news is that you'll lose all energy collected once you leave the UFO (remember that you have a timer).
My advice would be to follow what I wrote on the roadmap: load up Turnipseed map, make some rampage to initiate tanks spawns, then board up a UFO and target every cow, police car and tank (a friend of mine will definitely hate that) on sight. You'll have to be quick: the UFO timer depletes quite quickly.

Self explanatory. You can actually do these on your own (but I think you do have to have a controller for that).


Easily one of the worst (I would actually say THE worst) achievements of the game. Veterinarius wrote a guide for this achievement on Astats, but basically, you have to get 3 stars on just two maps (one for Rampage and one for Abduction). It has to be, of course, in coop.
Rampage can pretty much be done solo using Veterinarius's technique: pick the Rockwell map and the upgrades for the Transmogriffier + Tri Fusion Chamber. Then follow the hologram and blast the cows as they arrive.
Abduction, on the other hand, is pretty tricky. Infinite SKATE will be a necessity for this challenge. Abduct cows on your way to get radioactive ones, as they're the ones that give more points. I STRONGLY suggest doing this in coop with an IRL friend or through local play: one of you focuses only on the normal cows by staying near the tractor beam while the other one searches for the radioactive cows that spawns in the vicinity of the beam.
Be warned: radioactive cows are not directly on the map. They spawn in some parts near the tractor beam everytime the beam reaches a certain place. Keep this in mind when attempting this challenge.
