Use 10 GB or more (i'm using 16 GB) of virtual memory (pagefile).
Long Description
I encountered a problem - critical error with note: "Out of Memory". Game prerequisites tells about 8 GB RAM at minimum graphic quality but "real" requirements of RAM is greater than that. I had 7 GB of virtual memory and never encountered that problem with any other game like Cyberpunk 2077 or others. System tool "Resource Monitor" showed about 6 GB of memory used by Darktide, it is physical (RAM) plus virtual memory, task manager showed 3-4 GB of physical memory used. I tried to raise amount of virtual memory to 16 GB and it's worked. Now "Resource Monitor" shows me about 11 GB of memory used by Darktide.
P.S.
Another thing that helped me to gain couple of FPS is:
Change number of max_worker_threads to "max_worker_threads = 4" at "<Your profile>\AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide\user_settings.config", choose number of physical cores of your processor.

In launcher i can select from 1 to 2 threads only, not 4.

You can also change worker threads using a slider in the launcher's settings
