Description
Please note that this mod requires the user to have Team Fortress 2 mounted in gmod for it to work.

Description

This is a recreation attempt on making the Team Fortress 2 medi-gun for Garry's Mod.
It has full support for NPCs allowing them to use it and heal teammates too.

This is as close as i could get it to be, As i am a medic main in Team Fortress 2

Ubercharge included!

Features

* Both blue and red medi-guns included.

* Working uber charge.

* Uber drains quicker when switching targets etc...

* Working overheal + Effects ( Overheal drain can be switched off )

* Customizable settings in the spawn menu. ( Options > tf2 Medigun > Settings )

* NPCs can use the medi-gun to heal players and other NPCs tool.

* NPCs can use the ubercharge.

* Console commands... They start with tf2_medigun_

* tf2 BOTs support ( The one on the workshop )

* You can also ask the NPCs to uber you with ( tf2_medigun_npc_charge_me ) console command.

* Seems pretty compatible with most VJ Base NPCs.

Additional Information

You may not actually need the required addon for this to work, Its purely there in-case for some people they don't see the uber texture, Speaking of, Its actually better to not use the required addon as the default texture has more detail and looks better.

To give NPCs the medi-gun open your context menu. then go to ( NPCs > weapon override > tf2 medigun ( blue or red ) )

Disclaimer

This mod has stopped being worked on but was good enough to be released, Enjoy.

Note:
Settings only apply after you stop healing a heal target.

Known Issues

* On very rare occasions, NPCs can leave a target ubered. Even tho they are not healing them.

* tf2_medigun_uber_australium_skin : Does not display to all players.

* tf2_medigun_uber_cl_fov : May or may not work. ( ToDo: Confirm? )

* tf2_medigun_uber_uber_gain_slow : Is not actually used. ( This was where development was stopped )

* Combine tend to hit their allies if they are too close to them with the medi-gun ( That is hard coded so i can't fix that )

* Zenlenafelex and [2]-Brainless- [4]: Recreating the weapon from tf2.

Ah! anyone can actually decompile them easily by just dragging the .gma file into gmad.exe, and they will get all of the code / custom content. so i think it would be fine and they have pretty much everything there already.

Yes, that is completely possible. I just don't have the time to work on this any more as i have moved on from gmod :steamsad:

Would it be possible for you to make the Uber Charge level show up on other Huds?
The default hud displays this things ammo, but most others don't.
If not, it's no big deal

@MAŁPA Z KAŁACHEM GAMING : Open your context menu, then at the top left you should see some text labeled NPCs. click that and go down to weapon override, in dropdown list you can choose a different weapon to give the npcs.

I see, Thats a pretty cool idea, I am not currently working on this right now, since i am a bit busy creating a unity game. But i will remember this for the future!

@| 2 |-Brainless-| 4 | When you get a chance, can you please make a version compatible with CW 2.0 Base? You won't have to make each Medigun variant separately that way, making it easier to add them all. (Just make sure the RED stock variant is the base weapon, while the BLU team variation is a "Team" attachment (Switching "Team" variant attachments would be bound to Tab), MvM keychains (typically bound to E, with some exceptions), Australium & other skins (Bound to F) & any other variants are attachments.
