How to Grind Money With Absolutely No Effort
By john_johnson5
This is a guide on an incredibly broken method of grinding money in the third palace. It takes a little bit of effort to set up but once you do you can grind theoretically forever.

Ingredients
In order to set up this grinding method you will need the following:
- Kaneshiro's palace or the Path of Kaitul in Mementos
- A Persona with Frei. For this guide, I am using Suzaku. You could optimize your persona choice further by choosing one with the Atomic Bloodline trait.
- A ~Level 25 party
- Yoshida's confidant at Rank 3
- One SP Adhesive 3, equipped on Joker. Having them equipped on the rest of the party is always beneficial, but not necessary.
- No skills that resist sleep (optional)
- Some luck and patience
Step 1: The Setup
The main principle of this grinding method involves exploiting a specific encounter you can get in Kaneshiro's palace, so the first step in this guide involves finding that encounter. I found this technique in the room shown in the pictures, just before you go down into the vault. There is a safe room in this area so you can reach it quickly from anywhere.

Once you get to this area, start ambushing the normal enemies. You do not need to ambush the dog or the strong enemy, just the normal ones are needed.

When you ambush the shadow, you are looking for an encounter comprised entirely of high pixies. If you aren't fighting a group comprised of only high pixies, be sure to escape asap. You can choose to fight, but it'll only slow you down.

Below is what you are looking for

If you run out of normal enemies, you can head to the elevator where the dog patrols and ride it up and back down to respawn the enemies
Once you have your high pixies ready to fight, you can move on to the next step.
Step 2: Setup: The Squeakuel
Now that you've entered battle against only high pixies, it's time to get into the grind.

Start by killing any disaster shadows. Kill them however you want, but avoid using guns.

Once the disaster shadow is dead, focus on knocking down all but one of the High Pixies using your guns. Use basic attacks to kill them until there is only one High Pixie left, then knock it down using guns. (If you're out of ammo, see fun facts below, then come back up here).

After knocking down the pixies, ask them for money. When they give you money, ask for more. Keep asking until they get back up to attack you.

Fun fact about High Pixies: they cannot attack. They can cast dorima, diarama, and pulpina (though I've never seen one use it). So when the High Pixie gets up, it will do one of those things, or summon another High Pixie. We will be using this fact to our advantage

When this happens, use your guns again and repeat until you run out of ammo. Once your ammo is depleted, or if you're already out of ammo, take out your persona with Frei.

Another fun fact about High Pixies: they're weak to nuke

Knock down the High Pixie and demand money from it.

Step 3: The Grind
If you've successfully made it here, congrats! You now have an infinite supply of money at your fingertips!

To grind, knock down the Pixie using Joker's Frei and ask it for money until it gets up. If it summons another Pixie, kill whichever has the lower health using the rest of your party's basic melee attacks. No matter what though, use Joker's turn to knock down all the pixies and beg for money.

Sometimes, you may end up with three enemies on the battlefield. If this happens, just focus on one with the rest of your party members and slowly work your way back to having a single target.

The reason this grinding method works is because of the SP adhesive 3. Because Frei only costs 4 SP, you will always have more SP at the end of a turn than when you started, allowing you to continue knocking down pixies ad infinitum. If you don't want to use the SP adhesive, see below.

If an enemy puts a party member to sleep using dorima, don't worry! They will regain health and SP without ever being attacked, and will eventually wake up refreshed and ready to smack another pixie. You could even use this grinding method as a slightly inconvenient and slow way to to refill your party's SP if you need to.

If Joker gets put to sleep, just guard until he wakes up. If you don't have the SP adhesive 3, you will need him to fall asleep in order to regain the SP needed to grind infinitely.

Once you get the hang of it, you'll enter a rhythm and the grind will go on with very minimal effort. I recommend muting the game and watching a youbtube video or listening to music while you grind.

Step 4: Profit
When you've either gotten bored or gone insane, kill all the pixies to end the battle.

This is what I achieved after what felt like half an hour but may have been longer.

Conclusion
I'm definitely not the first person to discover this method but I feel like it doesn't get talked about enough. One thing I can say for sure is that it's consistent and easy to execute.

I certainly think this grinding method can be improved upon, most evidently by giving the whole party SP adhesives. If you have any ideas or come across any issues I didn't cover in this guide leave a comment and I might read it and/or update the guide.

Best of luck to you all in your quest to single-handedly fund Kawakami's retirement

or you just be high enough level to insta-kill powerful enemies in the Path of Kaitul, go up and down the floors until you get a floor that is only powerful enemies and hyper farm money and exp. got 5 mil and 8 levels (43 to 51) in around an hour. Just have to dodge the Reaper after some time but it's not difficult to do at all.

The ways I tend to make mad money are:

-Confuse-farming and no-selling certain minibosses for hours on end while doing something else at the same time.

-Instant Kill + Money Reading + Narikin + high Money and Item bonuses in Mementos.

-Here's a method that's less effective for the time spent, but can be done without gaining ANY EXP (for low-level/mandatory-battle-only runs): farming loot and Life Stones in the paths of Qimranut or Aiyatsbus with the Item bonus at +5 (uses 9 of the 10 stamps that can be found in the mentioned paths combined). Life Stones sell for ¥1,000 apiece, meaning that a full stack of 99 sells for ¥99k. The loot items you're likely to get when accumulating that many can potentially sell for just as much, if not more.

Should probably have mentioned the sun link tbh, if only for speed

My personal favorite is getting max item cognition paired with fortune reading and max sun link. 60k+ per money beg, and running around mementos gathering free loot to sell. After you get bored from battle, all out attack for maximum profit.

This seems like it would be great for early game, but later on when you get the ability to instantly kill weak shadows in Mementos, I feel like this would become obsolete. For before that though, this is probably one of, if not the best way to grind money.

this is quite funny, and also quite classic P5

True, but also it takes time to get instakill. Also this is funnier

counterpoint: instakill + mementos

if your entire party falls asleep, they summon Oni and might cast pulpina
