ACT AIM-1C Dirk Block III

The AIM-1 Dirk is a simple, maneuverable, potent multi-role missile. Although designed for air-to-air, it can be used from almost any platform to attack almost any target. The Dirk is quite simple, requiring very few components, but still packs a few features into its small size.

• A simple contact detonator, with proximity backup
  
• Easy integration with existing vehicles
  
• High speed and maneuverability for fast target interception
  
• Very simple operation
  
• ~2200 m range, up to 2700 m depending on launch parameters
  
• Lock-on before launch operation, or "point and shoot"
  
• ~22 degree FOV

The Dirk can be used however you want, although it will work best with either the ACT RLU-2 or RLU-3 missile pylon and launch management system.

The name "Dirk" is from the bladed weapon of the same name, light, fast, and often used as a backup, but devastating at close range.
