Ion Beam Elongator (back to 450m)

Description
Increases the range of Ion Beam back to 450 meters as before 0.20.21 update

This change is for people who like Ion Beams longer.

No idea, 250 perhaps? It was a balancing change back in pre 20.0 something build.

what was the range 350?

I just noticed that with this mod the damage on the far is decreased from 1750 to 1375. That does not seem right. I did a bit of testing, and it seems when you alter the range of the beam with the mod, there is a formula that changes the damage 'far', while 'near' stays the same.

I think it is doable. would require some math, but generally range is not 'fixed' and can be a result of a calculation.

Not sure how it would work optimalization wise though.

It'd be awesome if someone made a mod that scaled range with damage.

the best way to balance range is making the projectile inaccurate or slow, so that at range its easier to doge
