You are goanna need a mouse with at least 2 extra buttons. To make it easy to do some moves.

Here are some of the best key binds I found to work well. I will update the binds once I find some better ones.

I fully recommend setting the camera Sens on 75%
Also i recomend one mod to make it more fun to play is the Improved Physics mod by Beatz

I have always used keyboard and mouse way more often than controller, but there are just certain games that I feel fits better with a controller, and imo Sonic is one of em'
