Before and Between Quests
Before a quest starts a timer will show up top center of your screen. It shows you the quests that are going to start in the game, and depending on the game length it will show the past quests and new future quests as well.

  • The first quest starts at 6:00.
Tower Siege
Set siege to the enemy towers! The first team to destroy a tower will earn a powerful reward.

Time Limit: 8:00

The mission is easy enough; kill the enemies tower. On the minimap two towers will be boxed, one of your team and one of the opponents. This tower has the lowest health but also has the biggest shield.
  • The Green square marks the location of your tower that's got the lowest health.
  • The Red square marks the location of the their tower that's got the lowest health.

To help you succeed in your mission to take the tower you're able to partake in the optional part of this mission.

Optional
Kill wood imps in the forest to gather the materials needed to build an Advanced Catapult.
  • The yellow rings shown on the minimap depict the locations of the woodimps.

The wood imps are there to give you the ability to build an advanced catapult. These imps are not too difficult and clearing a camp will give you the materials to build a catapult. The materials will display over your head giving you an idea of how many you need to kill to be able to build the catapult. If you are killed while carrying wood you will lose all your progress. The enemy or your teammember can pick up the wood to count to their own progress.

Once you finish killing enough woodimps a new icon appears on your skillbar with the assigned hotkey Z. This is an active item and the number at the top left indicates how many you have made to spawn. It seems you can collect as many as you want.

This is your catapult it has a relatively small summoning radius and it has to be summoned near a minion. It will only last for 1:30 minutes, and has extra damage on the enemy's tower. The catapult looks like a regular catapult with a golden glow above it.

Rewards
  • Siegemaster's Scroll
    • Active: The targeted enemy tower becomes disabled and cannot attack for a short duration. If a friendly tower is targeted instead it gains Attack Speed, Armor, and Magic Resistance, and any gold and experience points it earns will be awarded to you. Upon expiration towers become immune to this effect and it cannot be applied again for a moderate duration.
    • Enemy Duration: 3
    • Attack Speed: +40%
    • Friendly Duration: 10
    • Duration: 20
The Veric Plague
Seek out and exterminate infected verics in the forest, gathering their pelts to deploy a plague against your enemies. Kill enemy heroes to steal a third of their collected pelts.
Time Limit: 10:00

On the map are two open circles that every so often will fill when more enemies spawn.

The plague spawns in mobs of 8 - 1 big one and 7 small - that are not stationary, instead they'll run around their spawn location looking for your heroes to attack. If they're not killed when they spawn, another mob of 8 infected verics will still spawn. They're not too difficult to kill but with numbers they can damage you bad enough that you'll need to go back or proc a health pot.

There is a max amount of verics that can spawn. At that point they will have to be killed before another batch can spawn at one of the locations.

On the left image you see a bigger version of a pelt. This is shown in your skillbar. Every kill you make gives you pelts. These peltscount towards the total number that your team has obtained and killing an enemy hero will make the hero drop 1/3th of their collected pelts. To have these pelts to count to your teams number you have to pick them up.

Reward
  • 150 Gold
  • Plague Blade
    • For a moderate amount of time heroes of the winning team will have a poison applied to their weapons which will cause enemy heroes hit by their regular attacks to cause less damage and take reduced healing
    • Max Stacks: 3
    • Total Magic Damage: 120
    • Healing Reduction: 15%
    • Attack Damage Reduction: 5%
    • Ability Damage Reduction: 5%
    • Duration 5
Troll's Treasure
Kill the troll who has escaped with the merchan'ts treasure to a cave in the southeast.
Pick up the troll's stolen treasure. Carry the treasure to the merchant waiting to the northwest, or protect a teammate doing so themselves.
Time Limit: 9:00

When the quest shows up the only part of the map that is highlighted is the south-east (bottom right corner of the map), the location of where the Troll is.
  • The Yellow Dot is the location of the Troll.
  • The Red circle is the location of the Merchant.
    • To your team if you have the chest it will show as a Green filled circle.
    • For your enemies it's a Red open circle.

Attacking the troll will make it walk to you and start hitting you in melee range with it's club, which looks more like a severed head on a spine than an actual club.

When the troll gets beaten he drops a treasure chest. This treasure chest will slow you down by 30% and you have to walk to the Merchant in the north-west (Top left corner of the map) to deliver the treasure. The treasure chest shows up in your skillbar and you are marked with the treasure chest floating above your head.

Once you arrive at the merchant you can deliver the treasure by right-clicking on the merchant A short (un)loading bar will appear when you deliver it and getting attacked will interupt your progress.
Rewards
  • 500 Gold
Slay the Dragon
Return to your Keep to recruit Dragon Slayer mercenaries. Fight and defeat the dragon. Be wary of the enemy team during your attempt, they may try to interfere.
Time Limit: 10:00

The dragon is a high risk great reward quest to do. Kill the dragon with your team to obtain the Dragonheart Gauntlet and set your foes on fire. The Dragon (at the time of writing) shoots an occasional fireball (ranged) and swipes with it's paw in melee range. It's high health makes him a difficult opponent.

Recommended you have a tank if you want to do this quest, or a lot of lifesteal/spellvamp and damage

Rewards
  • Dragonheart Gauntlet
    • For a moderate amount of time, every few seconds the heroes of the winning team will have their next basic attack enhanced by Dragon's Fire which will cause a burst of flame lighting enemy units within a small radius of the target unit. Units that are on fire will take magic damage every second for a short duration.
    • Passive Cooldown: 5
    • Radius: 0.75
    • Total Magic Damage: 7.5%
    • Duration: 4
Valkryn's Watch
Outnumber enemy heroes within Valkryn's Watch to earn control points for your team. The team that reaches the point threshold first will win the allegiance of the valkryn.

The location where we have to gather for a king of the hill style quest is marked on the minimap by the by now long familiar yellow dot.

All that this quest entails is waiting for the quest progress to fill to completion. While standing there every few seconds you receive gold. You'll get a Valkryn's icon over your head and behind you will be a Grey Valkryn.

Reward
  • Valkryn Caller
    • Active: Send a valkryn to scout in the targeted direction, revealing all units hidden by Brush or fog of war. It will linger at the end of it's path for a short duration.
    • Vision Range: 4.8
    • Duration: 25
Path to Ascension
It is said that the path to heaven lies open for those who partake of the forest's holy waters. Escort your Ascension candidate to these divine wellsprings while slowing the enemy's candidate, attacking them and blocking their path.
Time Limit: 8:00

Barely noticeable is where the chalice spawns on the minimap. The location is in midlane between the Keep and the Runestone. The wellspring color is the same as the teams color, Northern is purple and the Southern is blue. On the left of the text there's a prime example of what the chalice and wellspring look like on the Northern team.

Your team objective is to bring the chalice to all seven wellsprings to obtain the Ascendant's Chalice. When the quest starts 4 circles will manifest on the map.
  • A Green filled circle is where you have to go.
  • A Green outer circle only is where you go after you finished the one before, it will become the next filled green circle on the map and another green outer circle will appear on the map on the location after that.
  • A Red filled circle is where your enemy will have to go to.
  • A Red outer circle indicates where your enemy will have to go to after succeeding in delivering the first one.

The path veers to the right and once you bring the chalice to one it'll light up the one you have to go to next. An inactive wellspring looks like this. As soon as you have to go there with the chalice it looks like the starter wellspring. The final wellspring is on the left side of the map.

While you are carrying the chalice you have a wellspring icon over your head and in your skillbar the challice can be seen as well. Above your skillbar it is also portrayed as a buff.

Once you have delivered and actively finished the quest the buff and icon in your skillbar change to the Ascendant's Chalice. The character that turned in the chalice will have a golden colour over it's skin.

Necromancer's Bargain
Seek out and capture forbidden sarcophagi to unleash the souls of the necromancers bound within. The first team to gather the energies needed will shatter the veil between life and death, summoning undead servants.

When this quest starts on the map select locations will light up with a filled circle. These are locations for the sarcophagi for this quest. It's your team's job to capture and hold the sarcophagi until completion. You'll score points for holding the sarcophagi. The more, the faster that you'll get the points.
  • A green circle is for your team.
  • A red circle is for the opponent team.
  • A yellow circle is unclaimed.

To the left of this text is an example of a sarcophagus. This is how it shows on the map.

Once you right-click it you will start capturing it. A loading bar will appear on the sarcophagus indicating that you're not supposed to move, if you get attacked you will be interrupted at this point.

After the timer finishes a 'soul' will flow out. The colour being either blue or purple depending on whether or not you're on the Northern team or Southern team.

Rewards
  • 150 gold

Divine Lost Army
Pick up a beacon to begin escorting a Heaven Commander to a holy gate across the map. Deliver the Heaven Commander to the highlighted gate, or escort a teammate doing so themselves.

Time Limit: 8:00

The glowing dots surrounded by the yellow circle appear in your base when this quest starts. These are the beacons. Once you pick up one of the beacons by right-clicking on it one of the open green circles on the other side of the map will fill to show you where the beacon has to go. The enemies may be guarding these locations, but they also have to go to your side of the map escort their commander to the location to finish the quest.
  • A red filled circle are the drop locations for the enemy team.
  • A green open circle is a drop location for your team.
  • A green filled circle is the drop location for the beacon you have picked up.
  • A tiny green dot on the minimap is the location of a Beacon. (Visible on the minimap to the right near the destroyed enemy turret).

On these pictures are shown the beacon and the commander. By picking up the beacon the commander will follow you. He will not attack enemies that you encounter. If the commander is killed it is counted towards pet kills.

The notifications that you have the beacon with you are, like with most deliver quest items visable in your skillbar and floating above your head, good target practice.

The location that you bring the beacon to shines with a bright light as shown on the picture to the right. Once you get close to it the commander will walk on it and disappear after a short loading sequence in that light. The beacon also disappears from your inventory.

Optional
Defend the area near the enemy's gates or Intercept them en route to delay their Heaven Commander's return.

Reward
  • 150 Gold
  • All wave minions in the middle lane are replaced by Divine Lost Army soldiers, archers and healers for a moderate duration.
Raise Your Gryphon
Hunt creatures in the forest to feed your gryphon hatchling and grow it to maturity. Once mature, it will take flight and join the soldiers marching from your Keep.
Time Limit: 8:00

When the quest starts a tiny Gryphon will appear on both sides of the map. This is the young gryphon that has to be raised by the team of which sides they're on.
  • Green circle your Gryphon
  • Red circle enemy Gryphon

Note that one cannot attack the opponents Gryphon.

To raise your gryphon you have to kill wildlife in the jungle. The wildlife are small rabbits and deer. You can see on the left a picture of the meat and at the topleft a white bunny/brown stag image in your skillbar. You have to actually hunt for the wildlife and when you kill the stag or bunny you get meat. At maximum you can carry 25 meat with you then you have to bring it to the gryphon. Everyone that carries meat with them gets counted to the maximum and on the quest progress bar it shows up as grey. When you finally bring the meat over to the gryphon to feed it will turn to the respective colour of the team. If you die however you lose all the meat that you had with you and anyone is free to pick it up.

Once your Gryphon's big and strong it will wait for a wave to spawn at the botlane runestone. On the right you see that an extra icon has spawned on the map to indicate where the Gryphon is. The icon is not disimilar with a champion.

Rewards
  • 125 Gold
  • A fully grown gryphon flies to your Keep and marches with the next wave of minions spawning in the bottom lane.
From the Depths
Be the first team to kill the creatures of shadow that emerge from beneath the forest, drawn to the deaths of soldiers above.

Time limit: 8:00

When the quest starts in general as soon as a lane minion dies it will turn into a corrupted creature. These generally spawn at once per wave. Doesn't matter whether it is your wave or the enemies. These creatures you will want to kill. If they don't get killed they'll remain in lane until the quest hits time. To win this quest your team needs to kill 20 of them.

It is simply the tower that has the lowest health ;)
Corpsefoot 30 Jul, 2014 @ 9:17pm
I only ask because I'm not sure: in Tower Siege, are the towers on the map which are boxed the objective towers, or simply the towers with the lowest health at the time?

It seems the two are too often interrelated for it to be simple coincidence, though I could be wrong XD
