Does not work on the current version of the game. Only leaving this public in case someone wants to use it on a backdated game for whatever reason.
Might come back to this some day.

Description
Allows you to unite the British Empire into the Imperial Federation with the nation formation mechanic.

I was going to make it unify the whole empire without India with an event to bring them in later as the Raj, however with how unification works it does not currently seem possible to except certain nations from formation.
That is unless they are not your vassal when you unify for which case I have made two versions of the Federation flag for whether you have India or not in the event you'd rather release them before formation.

Not at all balanced or indeed very realistic, however if you want to balance it slightly I've added a game-rule so you can change what research is needed to unite the empire being either, Nationalism, Pan-Nationalism (default) or Telephone.

I have not yet made more flags for different ideologies or government types. I might do this later but for the time being it is just the one flag with a variant for whether or not India is within the Federation.


Compatibility
This doesn't overwrite any game files so should be compatible with just about anything so long as the cultures relating to the Imperial Federation aren't changed.

@mewpet3 If you decide to return to it someday I look forward to seeing what you come up with, would love to see an overhaul where you feel like you are administering the Commonwealth and India as a federation and not just as an overlord with limited laws, and an option to allow semi self governance, or move on to full integration.

Especially love the flag.

@Barry the Cow I was working on an overhauled version for a while but lost enthusiasm for it.
Partly because I don't like playing wide anymore and actually like having the dominions around.

Though coming back to this has been on the back of my mind for a while, maybe someday.

@theanswerisme No promises but I was considering making a larger Imperial Federation mod when the next update comes out in a few weeks with events and such.
Not much point in doing it before then though since it would all just break when the update comes out. Plus the new updates features would lend themselves quite well to such a mod.

The mod seems to be broken currently, as it does not let the UK form the Imperial Federation, and says that there are no unification canidates

I like what this does but I have some thoughts:

Firstly the mod doesn't seem to account for cultural UI stuff like pop images. When I look at my pops they seem to be from random cultural groups in their pictures, like African clerks or Chinese labourers. And the monarch, generals and servicemen have random uniform colours, usually black or white. They should be in red. They should def not be in African tribal clothing, as they often are...

Secondly I think the Boers should also be a primary culture since South Africa was a dominion and was expected to be part of the IF. Maybe add Afro-Caribbean as well.

Lastly, I hate the flag. It's way too busy and messy.

@Skinner I've not worked on this in a while but yea I thought of doing something like that.

Issue was if I did something which changed cultures it would have compatibility issues with other mods that change cultures, wanted to make it so this would work alongside just about any other mod
