how to anglo

Anglo Saxons
This guide is a short guide on the bri'ish people (Anglo - Saxons)
I'll do 3 segments
1. Pros and Cons
2. Strategy
3.Conclusion short one

Pros and Cons
Pros
You are a ranged based race
With both ballistas and catapults with a unique starting and ranged The slinger unit Think of these like a budget archer I suggest using them as a early game menace and using ur king as a 1 man army
Your the Income man and Defense man Traps go from 50 --> to 30(Spike pit traps) from 25 --> 15 (Muddy Pit Traps) Towers from
75 --> 40 (1st tower) 125 --> 90 (2nd Tower) 175 --> 140 (3rd final tower) Pretty cool right? You have low upkeep costs as well letting you make more units with even fewer for food
Use those costs for good as you can help your teammates while your base is a stronghold
Your a Hold down class with your shields are quite opposite from berserkers on the vikings side who are pure attack
Cons
Melee unit only accessed at tier 2
Slow Defensive units Your units are usually slower then others but this can be countered with blacksmith upgrades
Small sight range Your units are pretty blind So I'd recommend always keeping torches on and using corners, bushes and closed of areas to counter act this
No Calvary You dont really have an shock units so place your units wisely
Slow build speed this is a nerf to your cheap defensive building Theres no way to counter this

Strategy
Tech 2 and archery range or tech 2 and get barracks after you cap a base Note 'sell' your slingers for extra wood to get a melee unit faster. Rest is up to you
Try play defensive in mid to late game but in early game help your teammates and gather resources for blacksmith are your upgrades are expensive. Your king can give call to arms and pin, use this to kill enemies in your base or trap kings or important units
Note dont pin viking berserks as they cannot retreat during a battle and have to finish it before they can leave

Upgrades for units
Spears - Defensive
Shields - Attack
Huskarls (your axe units) - Speed/Attack
Archers - Piercing/Accuracy
Slingers - Piercing/Accuracy
King - I personally would say go with speed.

Conclusion
Hold down race with strong defenses can use melee units as walls and ranged with deadly precision
This is my first guide so please give criticism and feedback.
