Halls of Eternity (HoE) is a long white hallway that seemingly goes on forever. Time is frozen here meaning that it can be used for a true 400 day run (if that's your sort of thing) by closing the game while you're there.

How to get there (from home):
Leave home,
Go past master,
Up the stairs (and wait for the door to open),
Left door,
Left door,
Bottom left door,
Left door,
Middle door,
Through low tunnel,
Through water cave,
Left door,
Right door,
Through short cave,
Keep going right (may not look like there is a route but there is)
Then HoE will be to your right

Rumour has it that there is an end to HoE but you have to walk right for 100 hours, I have not tried it. Once you get to the end, it is said that you can go through a door that takes you to the start of HoE, Best of luck with that.

Around every minuet you spend walking to the right items will appear on the floor of HoE, walking to the right is the only way for loot appear and if you walk past it, the loot will eventually de-spawn.

The loot you can get is as follows:
Paper (can happen an unlimited amount of time and is the most common spawn)
Book (multiple) - NOTE: While I am not certain there may be 7 books to be gained from the HoE
Carpet (2)
Curtain (1)
Horse Head (1, you will get an achievement for picking this up)

To make collecting loot a bit less tedious you are able to double click the right side of the shade and the shade will continuous walk in that direction until you stop the shade or make the shade pick up an item.

What loot you get will be completely random, for example I got a carpet 4th and curtain 6th but other people just get paper from what i can gather online.

How long it took me to get the items I wanted: It took me around half an hour exploring to get both carpets, the curtain and the horse head, along with 3 books, obviously this is all down to RNG.

• If you set the shade to walk in HoE and then close the game down, the shade will continue to walk but not pick up items,
  
• If the shade walks to the right for X amount of time, the shade will have to walk to the left X amount of time to exit HoE,
  
• It is said that the further you get into HoE the more it begins to deconstruct until you reach the end door,
  
• I found it less tedious to keep walking right to loot everything, then sending the shade to go home and shutting down the game so that time progresses again.

HoE is a time-independent area of the cave system that has a lot of loot that helps with speeding up time at your homestead and provides some dialogue that the shade will say.
