To even run the game properly I had to set the System Locale on my PC to Simplified Chinese. To do this on Windows 10:

1. Win+R: "c:\windows\system32\intl.cpl" to open Region settings
   
2. "Administrative" tab
   
3. "Change system locale" button
   
4. Select "Chinese (Simplified, China)" and restart

Arrow Keys -- move character, select option

Enter -- inspect object, confirm, next text line

A -- skip text

F5 -- save, works only during VN sections
F12 -- reset back to main menu

There are only 6 missable achievements in the game. The other 39 unlock as part of the story.

Exit Aiko's bedroom, go immediately left and down the stairs. Choose the top option "下楼梯" to go down the stairs.


Exit Aiko's bedroom, go right to the lounge room and down to a storeroom. Return to the lounge room and examine the bunny doll that's appeared.

To continue the story, explore the rest of the floor. You'll have a short conversation before reaching the stairs.
Continue downstairs.

Go right two rooms and examine the breaker in the kitchen.
Examine the radio (in the upper part of house in the room with the TV).
Flip the breaker.
Exit left.

Save on the screen above that's right before this choice.

Select the top option "按住坂本", then the top option "帮助小南" again.



Select the bottom option "观察情况" twice.

• Go up one screen to a fork. Head right up the stairs.
  
  
• At the top of the stairs is another fork. Go down to the end and pick up the Mobile Phone.
  
  
• Return to the fork at the top of the stairs. Go up this time and follow the long linear path into a shed. Pick up the Small Key inside.
  
  
• Backtrack to the fork at the beginning of the caves. Some stuff happens along the way, including a forced game over when you reach the fork.

Select the bottom option to quit.

• Back on the real main menu, continue your latest save. You'll be back at the start of the caves, so redo everything above.
  
  
• This time, start a "new" game with the top option to continue the story.
  
  
• Go up the left path at the fork and venture deeper into the caves.
  
  
• Continue along the linear path until you reach the maze section.

Unlocks automatically because we picked up the Mobile Phone in the previous section.

• The correct path through the maze is: Right, Right, Left, Right, Right,
  
  
• Follow the remaining events for the remaining achievements.
