The concept was based on a couple of WW3RP magazines I made in 2015. Most magazines only have covers, although there were a few stories written up as pages (such as #4) - some of them reaching https://rustne.ws/ as articles.

Series 4 added background texture, but that series wasn't getting Steam ratings despite remaining popular within the Government, so I wonder if the title was too imposing. For series 6 I changed the title style back (and added some influence from The Times newspaper that I briefly worked with on a project) but kept the texturing. The highest rated edition is #7. Editions 30 & 32 were for a meme, and the style settled on series 9.
