freeze is to powerful

when this happened to me. i just went up the stairs in that fight. fight for a few moments, and then hit the railgun then go back to the stairs and rinse and repeat

Same man, same. In order to bypass the crash, stay on the upstairs portion of the game. Make you graphics low and the difficulty very easy. Just stay on the upstairs while you fight and keep activating the railgun and running upstairs. If you aren't at the railgun yet, just turn difficulty to very easy and your graphics to low and speedrun it.
