(In my 2 normal runs just got extremely lucky, I guess)
There are 2 ways:
1. You need to place bottom of John's sprite just 1-2 pixels under right diamond, run horizontally and after transforming acolytes will go to the left to grab you, so just go little up, to squeeze to exit
2. Horizontally line-up to top acolyte, approach him, so he transforms and rushes grab you, just pass him above, you'll get enough time and bottom one won't trigger at all
Maybe somehow I can show a video, but dunno how
Just checked it back again if it is possible.
Tried running straight through the middle - didn't work and variated heights, but I couldn't get through at all.
If you've got a line-up I could use to squeeze past consistently, I'll gladly check back, but I couldn't reproduce the strategy successfully, unfortunately. :(
(Still crying over Tiffany and her dashing
The way back sounds a lot like the alt strategy already in the guide - if you enter from the back room close to the top, you can make it in a straight line through the dark room by squeezing through the torches.
The guide does not aim to show the fastest, but (hopefully) the safest and most consistent route.
Anyways, thanks for the suggestions, and for checking out the guide.
I hope it can aid you well - Good luck if you're going for GCB, I've heard you can skip cutscenes now, which will speed things up a bit anyway!
thank you! it was reeeeeaaally helpful
