When I opened this game I could aim/shoot with mouse, but not move with keyboard or controller. I just kept dying over and over. Even ESC would not take me back to the main menu, though Alt+F4 worked.

I fixed this after a couple of goes, but I'm not sure exactly how. What I tried:

1. set input method to US English QWERTY not e.g. Ukrainian (Alt+Shift or click on the locale button in the taskbar, in between the system tray and the network/volume/date widget).
   
2. uninstall everything except English in Windows's Settings.exe.
   
3. turn caps lock on and off again
   
4. run the game in windowed (not fullscreen) mode.

I think the last thing was what actually fixed it, and the other steps were unnecessary/wrong guesses.
I haven't debugged this further.
I haven't noticed this issue with other Unity games.
