NVIDIA Driver 522.25 Map Fix
By Xenomorpheus
Nvidia published a hotfix on how to fix the graphical glitches with the map for their latest Game Ready Driver version 522.25. I will write the article here for ease of access but to see their page directly go here [nvidia.custhelp.com]

UPDATE!!!
It seems Nvidia has pushed the hotfix publicly, so hopefully this guide is obsolete now. I'm going to leave it up for anyone who did not receive the hotfix for any reason or if the issue repeats in the future.

Hotfix
Issue:
After updating to Game Ready Driver 522.25, certain GPUs may show artifacts in Cyberpunk 2077 when bringing up the in-game map.

Solution:
A fix will be pushed to users PCs via an over the air update in the coming days. If you do not receive the update or if you wish to apply the fix manually, you may do so by following the instructions below:

1. Click here [international.download.nvidia.com] to download the NVIDIA program GeForce 3D Profile Manager.

2. Open the GeForce 3D Profile Manager.

3. Click on the button Export SLI Profiles.

4. A file explorer window will pop up. Select a location to export and save the NVIDIA Profiles text file.

5. Open the text file saved in step 4 using Notepad (or any program that does not automatically apply formatting).

6. Perform a search for the section "Cyberpunk". Add a new line and type the following text as shown in the screenshot below::

Setting ID_0x00c36e12 = 0x00000000

7. Save the edited NVIDIA Profiles as a txt file.

8. Go back to the GeForce 3D Profile Manager and click on the Import SLI Profiles button.

9. A file explorer window will appear. Select the updated "NVIDIA Profiles.txt" file and then click on the Open button.

10. Once completed, you may close the GeForce 3D Profile Manager application.

@Boogy in the og article they stated they'd be pushing the hotfix to everyone eventually, they probably just got around to doing that! I'm going to leave the page up in the case that someone doesn't receive the hotfix for any reason but hopefully nobody'll need it anymore.

weird but the map fixed itself. I'm on the same 522.25 game ready drivers and haven't applied the fix. but weirdly gpu usage is back to 96-97% from 100% and a couple fps more as a result when the map had issues. probably they reverted optimizations they did for cyberpunk with the silent update of some setting when I was checking for updates with my Geforce Experience.

@weepyneurotic in the article they stated they're pushing the hotfix in a few days. Pushing an update throughout a network of hundreds of millions is a lot more effort than publishing a quick article.

Feels like in the same amount of time it took for NVidia to explain how to fix it they could've just released a minor update that fixed it instead...
