NEW PLAYER'S GUIDE

1.) Create your character
2.) come up with a name and a biography (the biography doesn't matter but if you want, you can do what I did and create a biography that develops over time by the choices you make in game/the people and factions you hangout/join).
*REMEMBER THIS GAME IS UNLIKE ANY OTHER MMO!*
3.) There will be an option to skip the tutorial. Heres a tip of advice, DO NOT SKIP THE TUTORIAL! You will be lost in this very complex game and will most likely uninstall it.
4.) The yellow dot on your minimap are quests (if you're in the tutorial region then follow those yellow dots on the map to do the tutorial or whatever).
5.) READ EACH QUEST CAREFULLY AND MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND THE DIRECTIONS! Sometimes you have to follow the NPCs directions in order to reach a certain location to complete your quest.
6.) When you get to the part where an NPC asks you to go check out the starmap in the vortex gate, Just open up the star map but do not, I repeat DO NOT leave the planet, just close the starmap and go back to the NPC who told you to check it out and talk to them to turn in.
7.) Join a faction, talk to other players, etc. This game is player-ran meaning it's heavily social. By joining a faction, you will have a reason for your character to exist. What you do after that is all up to you.

Some other things you need to know

-press "V" to enter and exit first/third person
-press "H" to disable the HUD
-press "X" to sit and "L" to lay down
-press "C" to crouch and "N" to walk
-press "Q" to holster/unholster your weapon
-press "." (period) to show/hide player names, crosshair, and mouse cursor

I'm still fairly new to the game but I see no tutorial guides for beginners on the community hub, I thought I should make a basic one. Its not much but it will get you started... I hope... I will add on to it as time progresses.
