After messing around with the game files I found the config file, which contains a bunch of fun settings.

Intro

Before we begin I recommend backing up your save file just in case something goes wrong. The config has a lot of settings and I haven't messed around with all of them, only a few. You are free to tweak the settings on your own and try to discover something new, but in case it messes up your save file it's a good idea to have a backup.
On Windows the save file is located in:
%APPDATA%\Doublefine\BrutalLegend
I just backed up the whole folder.
Anyway now to the fun part.

How to skip intro logos/splash screen

Go to:
Steam\steamapps\common\BrutalLegend\Data\Cutscenes
And move these files from the folder: DF_Logo, Legal and PREF. I moved them to the Data folder. Now when I start the game it goes straight to the main menu.

Config file settings

Config location
Go to:
Steam\steamapps\common\BrutalLegend\Data\Config
The way the config works is that there are 2 config files. BuddhaDefault.cfg and Buddha.cfg.
BuddhaDefault.cfg contains all the settings, but I don't recommend changing them here.
Basically, we put our settings only in the Buddha.cfg as it acts as an override.

Enable flight
enableDebugFlying = true
Allows us to fly in the open world. Very useful for finding missing collectibles or just flying around the map having fun.

Raising the max unit limit
defaultMaxPopCap = 99
I haven't tried going above 99 as I was afraid that might break the game, but feel free to try it out.

Disable Guardian of Metal
NoGuardianOfMetal = true
If for some reason you don't like Ozzy Osbourne, this setting removes him from the game.
So when you visit the Motor Forge you won't see or hear him.

Unlock all the songs
FullMouthOfMetal = true
This is kind of a weird one. I'm not sure if it disables the achievements for unlocking the songs yourself. So I only recommend this setting for people who are not interested in achievements and just want to have all the songs unlocked from the beginning of the game.

does the Limit 99 also apply to the Boss (eg: Lionwhite, Ophelia, Doviculus) or just the Player? (asking because i haven't tried it yet, and i don't want to get dogged even harder by Doviculus)

@grimdarkAngel Hey, cool idea. I just tested this out and it works! You can ditch the car and fly through the whole race.

Thanks for posting this. One thing that always bothered me was that Eddie couldn't use his wings outside of stage battles. I wonder if I can use them to beat the races against Fletus?

Oh by the way the highest popcap I’ve seen someone use is 600 but usually just 60 gets the job done especially in Multiplayer as Doom since you can have more Wigs and attacking Units to use.

@WitchlyWonders223 Oh that sounds interesting, I didn't know that there are mods for this game. I think not everyone would want to download a third-party software if they could just add a few lines into a text document. But it's always nice to have different options.

There's actually a community made mod manager that lets you change this stuff and install mods

@]|[-Gaben-]|[ Hi, regarding the max unit count, I don't remember there being any achievements that depend on the number of units so it should be fine. And flying is perfectly safe, last time I replayed the game, I went for all collectibles and flew through the whole map multiple times and I got the achievements!
