What's this all about
There is a seldom known exploit (For now) using a combination of settings to achieve a very far look distance across any and all maps. This giving a large advantage over those who don't use it or to whom it is unbeknownst.
Context

When accessing the Settings via "Esc/P" There are a hand full of buttons. We are looking at "Fullscreen" and the screen resolution, listed as "1920x1080" in the photo for now.

As well in the Controls, the default setting for "Look Around" aka Sight should be Shift/X.

<<<<<< - Used for setting screen to/from the Fullscreen On/Off setting. Use of this feature is up to preference, but for this task, its needed to be set to "Fullscreen Off".

<<<<<< - Used for setting the game closest to your monitors native screen size/resolution. Use of this feature is ultimately up to preference in the end.

<<<<<< - Used to access and change the controls hotkeys, I recommend not changing anything.
Overview Notes before application
  • Each screen is different, and the end results from the photos may be different per monitor by a small or large amount or none at all.
  • The following photos are taken of my whole screen, not just the game itself.
  • The players location within the game was taken from the same spot in each photo.
  • In all of the following photos, the cursor is held as far away from the character (North) given the games/monitors restraints.
Combined application

^(Pictured Above)^ (Settings : Fullscreen On, 1280x720, Holding Shift/X)

^(Pictured Above)^ (Settings : Fullscreen On, 852x420, Holding Shift/X)
- A unique effect here is that there is a black bar on the top and bottom of the screen, you can click within the black bars and still be in the game. (This may vary monitor to monitor).

^(Pictured Above)^ (Settings : Fullscreen Off, 852x420, Holding Shift/X)

^(Pictured Above)^ (Settings : Fullscreen Off, 852x420, Holding Shift/X, As well as moving the game as far down on my monitor as i can while still being able to view the whole game.)
Final Notes
  • The exploit can be further taken advantage of if using a multiple monitor setup (only if set to Fullscreen Off).
In explanation : If you are using 2+ monitors (on the same computer) side by side or 2+ on top of one another, (ot any other variations) you could potentially set the game in between the monitors and get a farther sight distance, with the one downside of having a split in your games view. Unless you have 3 monitors and are using the center monitor for the games location.
  • Moving the cursor outside of the game while set to "Fullscreen Off" only assists in scouting/"Looking Around", not shooting.
Personal Preference
(Fullscreen Off, 1280x720, Shift/X, Game centered on the screen)
