Hi fellow TwoPointers -
These are some very basic strategies I adapted from my TwoPointHospital experience.
Kudos:
Many of the early items both requested by Students and academic prerequisites require KUDOS, the bonus-point currency in TP-County.
The easiest way of earning them is via personal achievements and some of them can be done for free or with 100% "refundables" like
- painting x-amount of outdoor floor-tiles or
- hunting book-worms ( fill all but a small segment of the original plot with uni-building and you will spot them with ease on the remaining ground tiles.)

Loans will unlock at different Campus levels.
- The smallest has the lowest interest, so whenever you can repay a bigger loan by taking out a smaller one, get the better interest rate !
- A method for getting the third : Take loan, enhance campus (ideally with refundable objects and not staff - hires), level up, repeat.
- With most items being equal in buy/sell , storing or "banking" money in (for instance class specific library shelf-) items will allow you to use them as temporary loan objects - traded in for a couple of grand without causing severe issues.
- Loans can be used to rush a map , if you just need that 1 Star to unlock the one you´re actually after. Simply build all required rooms, hire any staff and solve issues by throwing money at it.
Once that star is earned and the next map started, the rushed map can be restarted without consequence.

R&D
Research will work across all maps within your career save.
So having a dedicated R&D campus can be very efficient both in room & investment saved.
In order to do research a teacher will need to have the class specific trait at entry level.
the research trait is a booster, not a prerequisite !
R&D can be used for 3 different classes of benefit projects-
A: Leveling up items
B*: Earning a batch of Kudos/Money (10k-50k / 20-50 Kudos)
C: Create new research projects
*B is creating non repeatable projects for all classes that can be researched on any campus ( depending on teacher traits) making them an additional tool to boosting income on very difficult maps ! You can advance the R&D to near completion before completing the project on your desired map.

How to operate the dedicated R&D Campus:
- Create a financially solid campus (Robotics tuition is good) with level 2 or 3 classes; 60 students should be the limit as far as staff required for an optimal benefit and facilities are concerned.
- New classes /fields of research will unlock with new maps, so once you have started your new map go back to your R&D Campus and let the researchers do their job before returning to your actual campus.
- (s.a. *B ) Projects can be halted before completion, permitting to strategically completing them in maps that may need it


PS: A great replacement for the TPH "Gold certificate" is the single tile Circuit Board (Attractiveness booster that can be placed on walls behind bookshelves and the likes)
