So, for step one you will need to be playing Garry's Mod. For users who do not own Garry's Mod / are not playing it, you will not need this guide. Good day.

Now that you are playing Garry's Mod, it may or may not be easy for you to use the quit option.


First, you'll need to (step one) be playing garry's mod.
Second, you'll have to have a keyboard. The reasoning of this requirement is so that you can press the "Escape" key on the top left of the device, above the ` key.

Now that you have found the 'Escape' key, you need to gently place a finger of your choice onto the button and press down (yet again, gently. You don't want to press too hard, you may damage your key that way.) If done correctly, there will be a new set of buttons and your game should've tinted black.

Now that these things have been done, you should now check if you have a mouse. It's an oval shape from the top but changes a bit on the sides. It has two buttons & a black wheel shape, grab this and move it to the button that says 'Disconnect' in the set of recently added buttons.

Now that your cursor (shown if your mouse is connected to your PC) is located on the disconnect button, you need to press down just as gently as you pressed escape on the top left area of your mouse.

Now that you've pressed the 'Disconnect' button you should be located in the menu. It's like you've time traveled back to when you first booted up Garry's Mod!

Now, this is where your mouse comes into play once more. You'll need to locate it towards the 'Quit' button, now this is where you will finally quit Garry's Mod.

Now that you have located your mouse to the Quit button you'll have to click it. (Clicking is the action of gently pressing down the top left button on your mouse.) Once you have done that, you will have finally exited Garry's Mod!
