The Road Warrior collection is an idea I created that comes from many various sources of inspiration, such as the Fallout series, the world of Mad Max, the Bioshock games, along with influences from Rat Rod style cars and retro signboards, and many artbooks of this nature.

I wanted to translate this post-apocalyptic and wasteland atmosphere for the player to experience it in their hands.

The designs are composed of many different elements, with the appearance that the weapons are actually pieced together from many common things. I used elements such as weldings, panels, jars, tape, stickers and posters, as well as scratched inscriptions and burned out elements.

By using regular items found in our culture along with vintage items, it conveys the sense that the owner is scraping together what they can find, while also cherishing the culture of the past, and putting their own personal touch and personality into making the weapons. I noticed this while watching the Mad Max movies, where the elements from the past culture was important for people to remind them that they are still human.
