GETTING AND INSTALLING THE GAME
You can acquire MiLE HiGH TAXi through Steam, or other retail locations online. Generally, Steam is the easiest way to get it.

Once you have completed your purchase, launch the Steam Client and go into your Library. Locate MiLE HiGH TAXi and either way for it to install or click it and choose to download.
PASSENGER PICKUP INDICATOR COLOURS
What do they mean?
There are three (3) colours that the passenger’s pickup indicator can be. Red, blue, and green.

Red: Short distance fares. Generally 400 meters or less. They don’t earn much money extra time, but they’re quick. However if you can do them fast enough repeatedly, you can actually earn money faster than longer fares.

Blue: Medium distance fares. These are generally between 400 meters to 1 kilometer. These can be the real money earners if played right.

Green: Long distance fares. Usually more than 1 kilometer. You can earn the most money by picking up these fares.
GAMEPLAY MODES
Normal Gameplay
The normal gameplay of MiLE HiGH TAXi is to go from fare to fare, not only as fast as you can, but also strategically choosing which fare to pick up next.

Challenge Mode
Challenge Mode is where you must pick up the passengers in a predefined sequential order. When you drop off your fare, the next fare will be in the immediate vicinity and you must pick them up next. Challenge Mode also comes with “leveling up”.

Free Roam Mode
Free Roam Mode is not a challenge-driven mode. You may freely drive around the city, going wherever you desire. Passengers are not available in this mode. This is the best mode to learn the city in because you can take your time, enjoy the drive, and look around.
GAME STRATEGIES
The “Normal Gameplay” mode requires the most strategy as the player must choose a passenger they would like to pick up and deliver. For example, if the player is running very low on time it may be advantageous to choose a Red fare rather than a Green fare. Or if there is currently a lot of time on the clock and/or multiple Hyper Boosts in inventory, the player may want to take the time to seek out and transport long distance (Green) fares sooner rather than later.

Keeping an eye on the countdown clock, Navcom AI!

Passengers never change their destination from one game to the next. This allows the player to begin to memorize their pickup and dropoff locations and strategically determine the best passenger pattern that works for them to maximize their earnings and time. Some passengers give only an estimate of the destination floor. Worse, some passengers will name an incorrect intersection all together - although the correct intersection will never be more than 200 meters from the stated intersection.

At present, there are over 270 passengers. While it is technically possible for a player to find a pattern that allows them to drop off all passengers in the game, the likelihood is low for 2 main reasons:
  • 1. The odds of locating this pattern are statistically very low
  • 2. The player would need to maintain near perfect accuracy for over 2 hours of gameplay
