Description
This is the final version of "The Institute".

After making massive improvements to the original version and expanding the map, I decided to reupload the update as standalone to let more people see and play the map properly.

This took a long time and a lot of effort, please be kind and vote it, also check credits because without those guys a lot of maps (including this one) would never come out AND THEY DO IT FOR FREE!




======================================= What's in the map? ==================================
-Selection of guns from WaW, BO1, BO2, BO3 and BO4, including a craftable Sliquifer, a buffed blundergat, mark II Raygun, thundergun and a reworked version of Fallout 4's laser rifle.
-All perks up to BO3 + custom perks + wunderfizz AND wunderfizz 2.0.
-gobblegums if you do the easter egg
-Pack a punch of course.
-Teleporters
-Mini Dynamic Easter Egg that changes everytime you start the map. Easter egg guide (can be completed without): https://pastebin.com/TNxeMGsX
-unlockable ending with custom made cutscene.
-custom soundtrack by me, you can use it as much as you want, no copyright obviously.
-The perk limit is 5 and can be six if you get two perks at once via wunderfizz 2.0.





===============================Please Notice==================================

You can fail the easter egg during step 2 by confirming the wrong power level or during step 3 by teleporting before taking the gun, if you fail you will not be able to retry, this IS INTENDED.


===================================What's not in the map?======================
-Double Pack-a-Punch bs, there are enough wonder weapons and perk combinations to get a statisfying experience without turning every weapon into a thundergun equivalent.


======================================Known Issues========================
Sometimes zombies might get stuck when you go up or down using the lift, hopefully it doesn't happen too much.

Advice:
In general avoid using the lift too often or too early in the rounds , the sheer size of the map will make the slow walking zombies take a long time to move between levels. (Zombie teleports were problematic so i decided it was better to have them take a long route rather than risk more glitches)
If they do manage to get stuck, going at the floor they are stuck on will make them come to their senses most of the time.


If you experience performance issues try lowering volumetric lighting in your graphics settings.
This is the final version, the issues listed above are here to stay unfortunately.

====================================Lore===========================================

Your landlord recently went on a hike and found a strange glowing disk near a mine's entrance, he decided to bring it home and store it in his shed, waiting for somebody to come evaluate the item and sell it for him. What he brang home was a teleporter mainframe, things got really bad from then.


The mine was a secret entrance to an underground concrete monster, a government building where a lab was conducting physics and ballistics experiments, trying to create new weapons and achieving teleportation. They recently started studying and experimenting with element 115. Said Building was referenced in a lot of the documents in the lab itself as "The Institute".


During one of the many experiments with an unstable and raw sample of the element, things got weird, the teleporter prototype started sparking and buzzing, suddendly....


...everybody was gone, things were in perfect order but the workers just disappeared in thin air, a few minutes after the accident strange machines and a mysterious box replaced ordinary furniture.

Something was very wrong in that building, steps and growls could be heard in the ceiling above.




Then the same thing started happening at your house.

The institute seems to be working on new tech that steals my frames, they must be stopped!

Can't really give a good rating for this map cause I died falling down an elevator shaft, but was pretty neat. 30fps/80fps

The only reason this is the final version is because i had 200MB left in the ssd and i only had bo3 and the mod tools installed, i'm not buying another ssd anytime soon so i decided to wipe the pc, you can criticize as much as you want, i can't bring the files back, also that failing the easter eggs locks you out of it is one of the few things people don't like that was intended, i would have changed it considering many didn't like it but i can't do shit now, sorry bud.

There are bugs that i couldn't fix unfortunately and for those i really regret losing the files but after so many hours of tinkering I had to stop and do something else for my sanity's sake.

cool concept but being cocky and saying this is the final version of the map without hearing community feedback is lame asf fr and bricking the entire map if a step is failed is literally goes against zombie game-play. kinda bad fr
