Welcome to our guide related to censored CS:GO Skins in Chinese version of the game. This guide contains skins that have been modified for the Perfect World version of the game. These type of skins are sometimes a matter of topic in the Skins Lover community due to them looking different compared to the rest of the world.

You might be wondering in the first place: "Why are skins getting censored in China?". First thing we need to mention is that skulls are not "banned" in China. Considering China laws are very vague, developers act cautious. Since every non-local game needs to be reviewed and approved by Chinese National Press and Publication Administration before publishing, developers are trying to avoid getting banned by any chances. It is considered to be culturally insensitive to depict skeletons in Chinese culture. That is where censoring of skulls, skeletons, revolutionary symbols and texts will just speed up the process of review and boost the chances of getting published.

One more thing to know before taking diving deep into this guide is that skins can be censored by community artists themselves and they most likely make CS:GO developers job way easier before their skin is to the game.

There is a total of 14 Pistol skins in CS:GO that are censored in the Chinese version of the game. For some of them, you will need to squint your eyes a bit since the censor might not be that easy to notice at first.

There is a total of 13 Rifle skins in CS:GO that are censored in the Chinese version of the game. Both CS:GO developers and community artists like to "hide" little secrets on their skins, which means that some stuff might not be easy to notice from idle position.

There is a total of 10 SMG skins in CS:GO that are censored in the Chinese version of the game. Some skins might not be only censored due to skulls being on them. There are even cases where skins got censored due to text that they have on them.

Although these skins are not censored in China, they feature a skull in some way or form. The reasons for not censoring these skins are not clear.

Some of you probably didn't even know that this skin even existed. But, in case you didn't, now you do and yes, this skin is also pattern based. Shocker indeed. Well, as you can see from the picture below, this skin has a human skull as part of its pattern. Now you are wondering: "Okay Aqua and Exerpas, but I think you guys forgot about the Chinese version?". Well, you would think so, but no, we didn't forget it. In fact, there is no censored version for this skin. You would think so considering there is lots of patterns for this skin that include the skull, but looks like either the creator of this skin didn't make a censored version or the developers didn't take their time to make one. This #509 pattern (shoutout to SeanErren for the input on Last Dive patterns) is probably the best example of the skin that looks the same in Chinese version of CS:GO and for the rest of the world.
