Pro tip for starters
DO NOT upgrade your car except for wheels. AI cars are adjusted to yours so if you have an upgraded car, the opponents have them upgraded as well, which makes races more difficult.

Self-explanatory. Easy to do.

Won first race
Finished a race in first place.

This achievement can be obtained only in single race, not career mode.

Preload Used
Use preload at least 5 times in one race.

To perform a preload - when you approach the jump, push the left analog stick down and when you reach the tip of the ramp, push the stick up.

Total loss
Finished a race without any body panels attached to a vehicle.

You have to lose ALL parts, including side panels, roof and spare wheels so that you'll end up with rollcage only. Choose single race, hill climb, Agave Peak and cosmetic damage. Drive off the cliffs as many times as you need. You don't have to win the race, just finish it.

Manual Trann*y
Finish 1st in a race with the AI and Laps set to 5 or more using a manual transmission.

This might be problematic for players using keyboards. In the default keys configuration, you change gears by pushing the right analog stick up and down but since this is a crappy PC port, you have to bind keyboard keys to Xbox pad keys and YOU CAN'T BIND ANYTHING TO THE RIGHT STICK AT ALL. Therefore, first go to Options -> Controller Settings and change the configuration to 2 which has gears bound to left and right bumper. Then adjust keyboard key bindings by using Launcher.exe since layout has completely changed. To set manual transmission, go to Options -> Driving Physics. This achievement can be obtained only in single race, not career mode.

Won 5 Invitational Races
Finished 1st in 5 Invitationals races.

Sometimes your sponsors will invite you to special races. They are available in the career menu under Invitational tab. Win 5 of those races and that's it.

Baja 250
Finished a Baja 250 race.

Baja 500
Finished a Baja 500 race.

Baja 1000
Finished a Baja 1000 race.

King of the Hill
Complete the Baja 1000 in a Trophy Truck.

Baja races are available in single race and consist of several rally stages. Baja 250, 500 and 1000 take about 50 minutes, 80 minutes and 2,5 hours respectively. You have to complete a Baja race in one sitting. If the game crashes or you have power outage, you'll have to start from the beginning since the game doesn't save your progress. I recommend to complete Baja 1000 with Trophy truck as you will get 2 achievements at once. However, I'm not sure whether you have to win these races or just complete them.

High Roller
Have 1 million credits in your account.

Don't worry - just be patient and keep winning races. You'll collect 1 million credits soon. You need to have them at one time so don't buy anything.

Basic Multiplayer
Play at least 5 hours in Multiplayer.

Normally, you have to find a friend, start a race together and wait 5 hours. However, I have no idea how this happened but I managed to get this achievement without grinding 5 hours. I finished two races for Player match and Ranked match (with and without AI opponents) but I didn't see any progress. However, when I closed the game, I got the achievement. Here's the screenshot of it: https://i.imgur.com/lvepqfi.png My theory is that I got it because I already had 7 hours of total playing back then but I'm really curious if you'll obtain it in the same way as I did.

Career complete!
Completed 100% of the career!

Self-explanatory but you can finish at least 3rd and the Invitational races are not mandatory.

Owns 15 vehicles
Purchased 15 vehicles.

Owns 25 vehicles
Purchased 25 vehicles.

Buy the cheapest car (Baja Bug 2 for 20,010 credits) as many times as you need and that's it.

Well Informed
Watch all of the tutorial videos.

Tutorial videos are available in single race. Watch them to the end. Don't skip them or that won't count.

Won all Hill Climb races
Finished 1st in every Hill Climb race.

Won all Nevada races
Finished 1st in every race in Nevada.

Won all Painted Desert races
Finished 1st in every race in Painted Desert.

Won all Canyon Lake races
Finished 1st in every race in Canyon Lake.

Won all Uyuni Salt Flats races
Finished 1st in every race in Uyuni Salt Flats.

Won all Lake Powell races
Finished 1st in every race in Lake Powell.

Won all Canyon de Chelly races
Finished 1st in every race in Canyon De Chelly.

Won all Cocono Island races
Finished 1st in every race in Cocono Island.

Won all Cabo San Lucas races
Finished 1st in every race in Cabo San Lucas.

Won all Mogollon Rim races
Finished 1st in every race in Mogollon Rim.

You can obtain these achievements both in career mode and single race. To save as much time as possible, try to win all races in the career mode. Not every track is used in the career so you'll have to select the remaining ones in the single race. The game doesn't tell you on which track you've won the race so you should note it by yourself. Both circuits and rally stages are mandatory.

Won all Open Class races
Finished 1st in every Open Class race.

Same tip as above. However, these are the most difficult races in the entire game so remember not to upgrade your car except for wheels.

Explorer
Found every hidden Discovery in Free Ride.

The most tedious achievement. Check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0WsV9zMm30

Thank you, I then won't buy any cars for now.

You need to have 1 million at one time. And yes, you need to finish 2,5-hour-long Baja 1000 in one sitting.

1 million credits - does it have to be at one time, or I can spend them?
Are you serious about Baja 1000 taking 2,5 hours? D: In one sitting? :awkward:
Strunmah 15 Jan, 2023 @ 10:58pm
Vincent, if I'm not mistaken the Cocono Island Rally should be only one you have to do for that achievement, if you finished first in every race in the campaign. Unless it's bugged or something. I don't understand how you got the rest of the achievements without doing the rallies I listed. Unless you did them in the Baja races.
Vincent 15 Jan, 2023 @ 12:44pm
Hmm, 'finish first on Cocono Islands' is the only achievement left for me. Have finished during career first on all tracks and have won all the Cocono related rally's, but no achievement popped. Have not finished all the rally's Strunmah mentioned though. Could that make any difference?
Strunmah 7 Jan, 2023 @ 11:52pm
When it comes to the achievements for winning every race in the different locations, if you have won every single race in the campaign the tracks you need to do should be as follows:

Open Class:
1. Mogollon Falls Challenge

Rally Race:
1. Painted Desert Rally
2. Uyuni Salt Flats Rally
3. Cocono Island Rally
4. Cabo San Lucas Rally
5. Lake Powell Rally
6. Dust Bowl Rally
7. Nevada Rally
8. Salted Pretzel Rally
9. Mogollon Rim Rally
10. Conyon De Chelly Rally
11. Canyon Lake Rally

You do all the circuit races and the rest of the rallies in campaign. If you win all of them these should all that's left to do. In case you lose a race in the campaign write down the track name so you know that you have to do it later.

No, the number of laps doesn't matter here.
Vincent 27 Dec, 2022 @ 12:39pm
Awesome, thanks! A question regarding the 'finished 1st in ....'. Is there minimum of laps for this achievement? Some other websites does tell you have to complete at least 5 rounds of a specific race.
