Hey man, just after spotting an old map called 1997 which I made many moons ago uploaded by yourself on Workshop, from the now long defunct Garrysmod.org . It's a real blast from the past for me, thank you for archiving it and putting it up!

As far as I remember it was my first uploaded map, then I made one called gm_policestation or something and then zs_relic. All are understandably rather awful, but I had fun making them. The name 1997 came from the film Escape From New York (1981) where it was set in a dystopian 1997.

Yeah but historically when I wake up to 30+ comment notifications it's almost always been someone featured it on youtube and it's "X played this" or shitloads of Bob was here copypasta. It's a refreshing change of pace.

because the maps theme accurately describes these areas perfectly and in detail, the noose area is probably related to missouri while the theme itself is genuinely what some parts of cities/states look like.
