Have you ever flipped your car and saw that text under it? probably.

Ever wondered what text is under every car? probably not, but i have, so i spent 10 hours of my life finding that out! this was a huge waste of time

Note: I do not plan on buying the Australia DLC, therefore I cannot include those cars for this guide, If you would like to contribute that would be greatly appreciated!

@Vertical Integration I was literally just about to talk about that car!

Don't worry, my explanation's a lot more straightforward. In short (and this is just what I keep hearing), the 037 is called a monster because of how it feels to drive. You know the Devil Z from Wangan Midnight? It's that, but more actively fighting the driver and less death. I think that's why it says #monster on the bottom. It's a monster that must be tamed in order to drive effectively.

Group B's "The Monster" correlates to the Italian Lancia 037, a mid-engine rear-wheel drive vehicle with a supercharged 4-cylinder engine, which in 1983 managed to usurp then reigning champion Audi and their infamous "quattro". It's something of a "David vs Goliath" tale, with Lancia acting as the underdog.

the t22 is lada eva (Eksperimentinis Vilniaus Autocentras) car which was built as a joint venture with 'nami' (ussr) and 'vfts' (vilnus, latvia) for group b and then s though. then, 'applesin' can refer to the group s car being orange-coloured as with fruit 'apfelsin/апельсин'?

the #hoon on das whip could also be a reference to the fact that it was one of the cars in absolute drift, a feat only shared by the original.

"Brute" might just imply powerful, rugged, but not particularly nimble. das superbaus has the highest top speed in the game. However, it only produces a top 10 time on the most flat-out courses because the handling and acceleration aren't quite there. An apt description.

Twin Turbo probably doesn't refer to the car having two turbos, because I think the Celica GT-FOUR only had one. This may be reference to the events of 1995. A later version of the car competed in the WRC that year and despite not being dominant (they only won 1 rally that year), everybody thought there was something strange about the car. The car seemed to have more power than its rivals (let's say almost like it had an additional turbo). FIA never found anything, until the Spanish rally, when they found an ingenious device that allowed the turbo restrictor to open up, letting more air into the engine and therefore inceasing power. This was of course illegal, so Toyota were disqualified from the 1995 season and banned from entering next year. But at the same time, they were praised for coming up with one of the most genious cheats in the motorsport history.

Super D likely means Super Delta. Delta, because that's the model name, Super, because it is the most successful car in the history of the WRC. It won 4 driver's/co-driver's championships and 6 manufacturer's championships in a row (1987 to 1992).

Applesin on the Lada may be referring to the original sin from Bible (the one with the apple) for which Adam and Eve were expelled from the Eden garden. The connection may be that constructors in the Eastern countries were looking up to the West and attempting to build some expensive race and rally cars, which their governments weren't really fond off. Some of them were even punished for it in some way, because they were by some considered traitors of the communist society, who wanted to get friendly with the West.

Monster may simply mean this car was the monster of the monsters, since the Lancia 037 managed to beat the AWD Audi quattro to the constructor's title in 1983, despite being RWD.

Forza on the Ferraris probably refers to the favorite chant of Ferrari fans, simply "Forza Ferrari!". I guess it means something like "Go Ferrari" or "Ferrari Power" or something like that.

the French word for god is “dieu”. “Bleu” is blue. Sacré bleu is similar to “oh my gosh” instead of “oh my god”.
