Introduction
Reaching level 50 might not sound like a huge thing, but reaching it fast enough with maxed malice clock speed does. Although this will not be the best of builds, it will help you a lot with your future experiments and endeavors. This guide is meant to allow you to test many of your curious mind's ideas fast enough, satiating your hunger for your quest to find the ultimate demonslayer build to end it all.
Not for Beginners
This guide is not meant for starters, as you'll need some Astral Flowers (upgrade currency) to be able to pull this off excellently. You can, however, learn a thing or two from this if you ever are one.
Preview
Prerequisites: Upgrades
It is highly required that you have all of these upgrades maxed out:
  • Everything from Row 1 to Row 5 (Defiance to Astral Barrier), EXCEPT if you plan to max out Nightshade then DO NOT upgrade Armor even once.
  • Unbound Upgrades: Clairvoyance

Optional Upgrades (these are the ones that I included in my preview run):
  • Unbound Upgrades: Brain Power, Reverb, Maiden, Brutality, Nightshade, Shotgun, Fracture, Cremation
Spellbook Companion: Wolfe
We choose wolf for rerolls. You wouldn't want to try out a build only to not get them because of bad rolls, would you?
Stage Difficulty
At the stage selection screen, just below the 4 available stages you should be able to see a "Movement Speed: xxx%" with two directional arrow buttons. Just click the right one multiple times until you see "Movement Speed: 200%".

Speed & Difficulty Settings (aka Malice)
Max everything EXCEPT for Knockback Resist. DO NOT put even a single point into Knockback Resist.
Gameplay Strategy
Once we head off into the game, kill a few mobs, level up, as soon as possible, start BANISHING all the Spells (not Auras) that you won't need for the build you have in mind.

Then, reroll until you find Tailwind. Yes, Tailwind. Level 1, 2, 3, 4.

Why???

A level 4 Tailwind, or Sound Breaker, is, without a doubt, THE BEST OFFENSE on a 200% movement speed, + maxed out enemy speed malice. You'll never kill mobs as fast as Sound Breaker can on anything else level 4, or even level 6.

After reaching level 4, you should be facing off or have already killed the first boss. DO NOT pick up the treasure chest. We'll need that to level up our spells later on (Further explanation on Further Gameplay Strategy section).

After that, we'll want to MAX OUT (Level 12) Clairvoyance as soon as possible.

That's it. With just these two starting decisions, along with the prerequisite upgrades and difficulty settings, you should be able to level up fast enough to get near level 50 before the red timer.
Further Gameplay Strategy, Based Off My Preview
After maxing out Clairvoyance, we should get the spell/s we planned for our build. DON'T level them up (except for level 6/upgrade spell). We can just pick up the treasure chests for that.

Treasure Chests:
  • Pick up when you have a spell you want to keep that's below level 5.
  • DO NOT pick up when you have no spell to level up. Just let it sit there until you have a spell for it.
  • If you already have maxed out all your spells, DO NOT pick up the treasure chests. You'll want to save these for later. Picking up a chest gives you a few seconds of invincibility. So only pick them up when you're in a pinch.

By the time you max out Clairvoyance, you should also see a Smuggler Shrine around this time. The best one to get for the first Smuggler Upgrade is the Grim Row, as this will allow us to kill more bosses, meaning more treasure chest drops, which also means more free spell levels, more astral flowers, and more invincibility time. Another good upgrade would be Chainbreaker, but honestly, taking it too early doesn't really benefit us as that needs chain stats and fast cast speed to actually be useful.

Next we'll start maxing out Brutality, to get some damage and knockback.

After maxing out Brutality, we should be near the red timer, in my preview there was only 4 minutes left, so we should start taking Shrine Maiden. Having 4 or 6 levels in Shrine Maiden should be enough, we don't really need to max it out early on.

Before reaching the red timer, we'll want to have 4 levels in Lethality. This lets us kill bosses a lot faster.

We'll also want 4 levels in Slipstream, since we'll be receiving a lot of buffs later on and we'd want to turn those projectile stats to cast speed.

From here on out, I don't have much else to say, go crazy, and most of all, HAVE FUN!
