Today's lesson: Excitement
Unlike intensity, all guests in the park love coasters with high excitement ratings. The higher excitement rating, the better. You may have noticed that if you get the excitement rating up to extreme/ultra extreme, it will not turn red like intensity/nausea will. This is because getting excitement to the level of ultra extreme is a very good thing.
How do I raise excitement?
Excitement can be raised by putting in things such as hills, loops and corkscrews where the guests either barely make it to the top of the hill, or get a lot of hang time. Pros for putting in hills: Intensity does not go up, whilst excitement goes up a good bit. Cons: Can sometimes look awkward and may not fit with the surrounding coaster. Pros for hang time: Relatively inexpensive, decently compact, and Excitement will skyrocket. Cons:Raises intensity a little bit. Have a nice day! lightguard777 out!
