Thank you to all the dedicated people who ran this thread before they removed the 2K launcher.

Tried this out -- Looks like the command for some fresh downloads should be:

"BioShock2HD" -run %command%

-Note that "2" may need to be included
-Note that no file path is necessary before the command

If you're having a problem like I was - as I couldn't get this to work and tried multiple things listed in the comments, you can try what I did that ended up working for me. My problem was that I couldn't get my controller to work with the launcher. So I changed the controller input to steam input and then opened the game directly from the application in the files and that somehow skipped the 2k launcher and my controller now works. Hope this is helpful for someone else.

Did a great job of bypassing the launcher, so much so that the game wont launch. Yes, I added the correct game path... no launch. Also tried the other fox listed below and in a different guide... same "failure to launch" May 2K go bankrupt.

10/10 this guide still works as of 10/10/24. The people here complaining it doesnt work probably just copy pasted the example address without reading anything.

Oh and obligatory rant about how fucking useless this launcher is. It literally just exists as a second time to click "Play the Game" like what the fuck.

Did not work for me, because it stopped searching after the space in "Bioshock Remastered"

The below command did work for me however

"BioShockHD" -run %command%

Yeah this requires a little work like I had to change "Bioshock Remastered" to Bioshock 2 Remastered"

This doesn't seem to work for me, has something changed in the last year to prevent people doing this or am i just one of those that it doesn't work for?
