Metal Gear REX

Description
"We were conducting exercises with a new type of experimental weapon. A weapon that will change the world; a weapon with the ability to launch a nuclear attack from any place on the face of the earth... a nuclear equipped walking battle tank."

Based on the iconic mech from the Metal Gear Solid Franchise

Metal Gear REX was a bipedal tank developed in the early 2000's by DARPA and ArmsTech in secret for the US Army. It had the capability of delivering an untraceable and undetectable nuclear warhead anywhere on the planet via it's revolutionary railgun delivery system.

Unlike the original, this version of Metal Gear REX does not have any nuclear armaments.

Weapons
  • Dual 30mm Cannons
    A pair of rotary cannons that work well against infantry

  • AT Missiles
    Laser guided Anti-Tank missiles launched from REX's knees which home in on the user's crosshair. They work well against armored targets.

  • FE-Laser
    A 100 MW laser cannon capable of shredding infantry and armored targets with sustained fire.

  • Railgun
    While not nuclear capable, this armament is capable of damaging heavily armored targets as well as airborne targets given good marksmanship.

LOW GAME PERFORMANCE (i.e high bot counts/resource intensive maps) CAN RESULT IN JANKIER MOVEMENT AND A BROKEN LASER

f me.. people are still asking for ray huh? y'all do realise rex is already pushing the limits of how big things can be on normal maps right? ray is bigger and Sehelanthropus is even bigger again, albeit in height with its low height being that of rex (still feel cucked out of a modernised rex fight with that cutscene even if rex didn't technically exist yet)

Dude you should really come back to the modding scene because it's been ages since you;ve made it plus it would be cool if you make the npcs use the weapons on it
