Don't take this guide seriously. No, Cruelty Squad has no achievements. My dumb ass brain decided to waste a bunch of time trying to replicate the steam achievement style. This is one big ♥♥♥♥ post.

Obviously, this guide will most likely spoil the game for those who haven't beaten it, as well as many secrets and hidden details.

Try to get the achievements first before reading this guide!

With that being said, let's get into the achievements!

This is quite possibly the easiest achievement in all of steam - nay, gaming history. All you have to do is, get this, purchase the video game. Simple as that.

They should aid in padding your wallet enough to complete the herculean task of buying the game.

This one is fairly straightforward. NPCs are very excited about the underground indie collectathon rpg platformer roguelite vr masterpiece known as Gorbino's Quest.

Go to mall madness and just interact with people. Other places probably mention him, too.

The hardest part of this achievement is socializing, which the average Cruelty Squad fans have trouble doing.

The description is somewhat vague. What you have to do is fairly simple - let any of the handler's mission briefing text finish without skipping it 3 times.

It seems to only count if it's three different briefings.

If you aren't stricken with the crippling affliction known as ADHD, you should be able to complete this (it's strange that less people could listen to 3 mission briefings without skipping than listen to Gorbino's name being mentioned)

Look at a copy of Gorbino's quest for 60 seconds, or a poster advertising it.

Kill 6 targets, in any way you choose.

People somehow played Mall Madness to stare at / witness Gorbino, yet less people killed 6 targets, despite the fact that there were 7 targets from Pharmakokinetics to Androgen Assault... I'm so confused.

Make bank fishing.

The best places to fish are: the pools of water in Casino Catastrophe and the exit of Idiot Party.

• In Casino Cataastrophe, you have a good chance of getting a $1 Coiny fish, but you also have a chance of fishing a wheel of fortune or wheel of pain, worth $1,000,000 and $2,000,000 respectively.
  
• Idiot Party's fish are the best in terms of consistency in the normal levels.

Fun fact: This achievement was originally called Broker Coaster, but the name was changed because Tom Coaster, owner of every amusement park in the entire world, threatened to sue due to copyright infringement.

Shame, it was a good name.

Anyway, for the achievement, you pretty much just have to bet on stocks and hope it happens.

No particular stock, but of course, obtaining corporate insight helps, but it isn't necessary.

Just pay close attention to the stock.

You have to fill every implant slot in your body - head, arm, torso, and leg.

You really don't need to focus on this achievement, as it's fairly easy to do if you're purchasing upgrades.

The cheapest options for each category (without finding them out in the world) are:

• Head: Nightmare Vision Goggles ($10)
  
• Arm: Zomy X-200 Portable Cassette Player ($200)
  
• Torso: CSIJ Level II Body Armor / Military Camoflage (Both $1000)
  
• Leg: Speed Enhancer Gland ($1000)

Beat the normal game's final boss, Abraxas.

For the final level, I recommend bringing the AMG4. Dodge the lasers and fire quickly. The boss should go down with little difficulty.

First hidden achievement.

Find and complete any secret level. The 6 secret levels are:

Broken achievement. Originally, you had to die to the Grid Crab while on Hope Eradicated three times, but it no longer works. Please fix dev.
