I don't think that simply throwing items upwards is a good solution, besides the fact that the mod considers that an item on top of a half block is inside the block makes me a bit uncomfortable.

This has a minor bug, that if an item drops on a slanted tile, it will hop up and down instead of sitting on the ground.

Other than that works as advertised
