Griffon mount for High Elf Noble

This mod adds a Griffon as mount option to Noble heroes for High Elves.

+++ IMPORTANT NOTE +++ READ FIRST +++

tldr: this mod can potentially rob a Noble of up to 4 skill points

*edit* not that much of a problem anymore thanks to the official implementation of character respecs


This mod alters the skill line that includes the Noble's mount option. Due to the way the game is structured, internal properties of the skills "Speed of Asuryan," "Ward of Loec," "Ward of Hoeth" and "Immortality" needed to be changed to properly implement the additional mount.

The aforementioned skills work the same as before and on a newly recruited Noble, those internal changes have no appreciable effect. However, any Noble that already had any of those skills before activating this mod will lose those skills. They can be reacquired by spending points on them again, including ones otherwise gained automatically for free ("Immortality").

*edit* As stated above, the official implementation of character skill resets should be a handy dandy solution to this potential issue


+++ Details +++

The Griffon mount is the same model as used by Yvresse's "Knights of Tor Gaval" Mistwalker unit, with stats balanced to be a middle ground between the High Elf Prince/Princess Griffon mount and the Noble's Great Eagle mount.

The Griffon mount functions the same as any other mount in TWW3 and is automatically unlocked upon reaching level 20.

Griffon mounts are also available to Nobles in AI Skirmish battles.


+++ NOTE +++

This mod also visually changes the High Elf Prince/Princess Griffon mount to the Knights of Tor Gaval mount model (because I just like those a lot better). No gameplay changes apply in relation to the Prince/Princess, however.


+++ Compatibility & Requirements +++

Again, this mod can potentially mess up Nobles that have been leveled up before mod activation. Use with care and reset skills if necessary.

Save compatible, just keep the above in mind.

Will likely conflict with anything that alters the Noble's skill line that includes his mounts.

Requires the TWW 2 DLC "The Warden and the Paunch" (probably).
