"Dropkicks are a great tool to knock enemies far away /or to get a sneaky environmental kill.
However, it's best to use it when there's enough space between you and your enemies, as the dropkick is very easy to miss.

You can do a dropkick, and instantly cancel the rest of the animation with a snap-dodge.

It's best to use it against slow / big enemies such as "Half-Mags", "Nexus support(Hammer guys)", "Nexus Riot units", and so on.
Quite a lot of people don't know that Half-Mags can be easily knocked down with a dropkick."
