This mod adds a third kind of deal room that can appear after boss fights: a Deal with the Old Gods (or Limbo deal for short). It won’t replace devil or angel deals - it appears when no other deal opens, or in rare cases alongside one of the other deals.

Items in these rooms are free, and you can take as many as you like. The catch is that the items in Limbo rooms come with both a positive and negative effect, or an effect that is powerful but also dangerous. Broken Stopwatch and Curse of the Tower are good examples.

Taking items from deals with the old gods won’t affect your chances of getting deals with the devil or angel later in the run. Although this mod technically adds a lot of content to the game, I tried to make sure having this mod installed impacts the game as little as possible outside of the new deals and character.

This mod adds over 2 dozen items, 3 trinkets, 2 challenges, and 1 character (+ a tainted version).

Note: This mod is the sequel to the now-defunct Limbo Deals mod, which was broken by Repentance. This mod was made with the latest API, so all DLC is required. This mod has compatibility with OptionsMod; if you have OptionsMod installed, you can tweak how various parts of this mod work, and disable or change the rarity of items.
